Ryan Serhant graduated from Hamilton College in 2006 with degrees in English Literature, and Theatre. After College, he moved to New York City for a starring role on the iconic soap opera As the World Turns. We found out the hard way that selling an apartment, on our own, in NYC was an overwhelming ordeal. After making our own ads, staging, baking cookies and hosting an open house which had only a couple of guests, we realized that we were in over our heads. My husband suggested we call "that guy on Million Dollar Listing NY - Ryan. I laughed and laughed saying, "There's no way our apartment is a big enough deal for him to even take on!" My husband persisted, so I sent Ryan an email through Nest Seekers website. I was floored when he called me within 15 minutes and said, "No! Of course, it's not too small! When can I come and see it??"<br/><br/>Well, that was the beginning of a fabulous partnership. Ryan was open to all of our thoughts and concerns and was amazingly responsive to any text we sent him. He always made himself available to meet us in the city to discuss our strategies for selling. Our listing was shared with his co-broker, Ivy Paterni Kramp. She, too, was wonderful. She was sweet, approachable and felt like a friend. And yet, she was firm when she had to be --especially with our sub tenants, who at times were real obstacles to the showing of our apartment. Ivy, went above and beyond to soothe their concerns and spared us a lot of tension by handling all matters with them herself. <br/><br/>The marketing of our apartment was also professional and effective. Photos were taken within a couple of days of our signing with Nest Seekers and they garnered tons of interest. They showed our apartment constantly--every weekend and during the week. We always knew they wanted to get us the absolute best price. They pre-qualified buyers so that we didn't waste time with any people who would not end up being "real". In addition, the paperwork they had to do with building...yikes! Offering plans, board approval, etc. It would have been impossible for us to have waded through such issues, yet for them that stuff is a piece of cake!<br/><br/>We feel so lucky to have found Ryan and Ivy and, though I never post anything on the internet, I want to strongly recommend both of these brokers as first rate. Ryan still amazes me! How he can make each client feel like they are his first concern despite his very, very big client roster!! You will be making an excellent choice to sign with Nest Seekers, and these two brokers especially! --

Sold a Cooperative home in 2014 for approximately $775K in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY.

Ryan could not have been more helpful during the process of selling our apartment. He knew exactly what to do in terms of networking and marketing, and consequently the apartment sold at what I believe to be the best value possible. Not only did Ryan obtain the highest price for us, but he also did so in a timely manner that I did not think was possible. When I first sat down with Ryan to discuss the logistics of the apartment, he told me he knew exactly what to do and how he was going to sell the apartment. At first, I did not think it was possible to sell the apartment at such a high price so quickly, and Ryan proved me wrong!  More Less

Sold a home in 2014.

I contacted Ryan after a recommendation from a friend and I am so glad that I did. I had a small time period in order to sell my home as I already had a new home being built that was almost ready to be moved in to.

Ryan helped me throughout the process and helped me to sell my home in a short period of time, for a better price than I ever could have imagined. I have lived in New York City for 20 years and have been through various real estate transactions. Ryan and his team at Nest Seekers have proved to be not only professional but exceptional at their jobs.

Since my home was sold, I have recommended Ryan Serhant to various friends, family members and colleagues of mine. I will continue to do this as the work done by him was so superb.
