I ran through the calculations on the site and got: $2421
When I worked it out on my own using my trusty HP48GX, I got: $2133
I'm the tester for this, and the mortgages feature in general. I'll look into this soon since there doesn't seem to be any real consensous.

Fortunately I live North of this work and probably won't be affected, but surely they are going to do the lane shutdowns only at night. That usually isn't too bad.

I looked into this. It looks like we are including taxes and other fees in the calculation. We clearly need to message this better as it is not just a principle and interest calculation based on the values you can modify, but also references data specific to the home you are currently looking at. I will open a bug on this, but in the meanwhile I hope this helps.
