Sherman contacted me after I posted a make-me-move posting on Zillow. When I followed up with him he was very disorganized and wasn't able to locate my property after me repeating the address multiple times. Finally I e-mailed him with the zillow posting. I asked if he had an interested buyer and he said yes. We talked about times for the buyer to come and I gave several options. In a follow-up e-mail he said the buyer could come on the last possible date that we had discussed and he would call with an hour's notice. He then had a very lengthy sales pitch about why I should list my house with him and all the services he could offer for only 1% over standard commission! When I responded to his e-mail and ignored his sales pitch he was very put off and responded in a rather unprofessional manner. Well, today was the day he said he would contact me to have the buyer look at the property and that didn't happen.
I don't much appreciate his misrepresentation. I've been involved with several real-estate transactions and have had interactions with good and bad agents enough to know that I would stay away from this agent.
