Bought a Townhouse home in 2014 in Greenbelt, MD.

Bought a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $400K in Rockville, MD.

The agent sent by Samer Kuraishi Group was below of what you might excpect from a buyer agent, As a visitor to USA, Hovick used my lack of knowledge of the real estate market in the US ( laws and rules) and my short time frame that I have for the purchase, to make the sale favoring more the seller than the buyer, in stead of protecting the interest of the buyer as I hire him as my buyer agent. Even he show me many properties like 20 in one week, we did offer for 3 condos, 2 of the offers I was not informed fully, he always pushed for the first offer of an overpriced condo which I ended buying it. another same condo which we saw in our search, same square footage, same street, same setting was sold in the same time for 21,000 less of the one I purchased, my agent never advice me to make an offer for this condo even he know that asking price was 50.000 less of the one I purchased. I strongly believe that my buyer agent lack of professional ethics, I feel that the last he cares about is the interest of the buyer and the correct and honest advice as a buyer agent.  More Less

AK is sorry your experience was less than perfect. The cheaper condo to which you refer was the 1st property you saw. AK can’t encourage a client to purchase when not fully informed about the market. 2 days later, when you asked to purchase it, the condo was under contract. Later, a 2nd condo was listed and you purchased it. While frustrated at paying $21,000 more, your condo is more valuable because it comes with extra parking space, 30% less condo dues, and was 1 year newer. Any of these factors alone justifies a price increase. But taken together, it was a great deal, especially when appraised value was $20,000 more than purchase price. Also, AK negotiated your price down by $40,000, won addt’l discounts from the title and moving companies, and purchased a home warranty for you. By all accounts, AK met and even exceeded its own standards of excellence. Perhaps AK's real failure was not effectively communicating the true value of your purchase to you and, for that, AK is truly sorry.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $700K in Sixteenth Street Heights, Washington, DC.

Without a doubt I can say that this was the easiest home sale I’ve ever experienced. And I feel my experience is due entirely to Samer as my representative. He worked very hard to sell my house and I had to do very little. His estimates of condition, final price, and negotiations with the buyer were all right on target. My only wish is that I had another house to sell so I could use him again.  More Less
