Bought a home in 2011.Summary:
I could not have asked for a better realtor. We chose Scott after having a bad experience with our first choice. Scott was quick to realize exactly what we were looking for and did not waste any of our time. We have a large dog which caused us some hiccups along the way. Scott knew which areas were dog friendly and we LOVE our new place! Jenny (the transaction manager who we dealt with after the offer was accepted) was great and usually got back to my emails withing 5 minutes! It was an easy, fun proccess thanks to Scott and his team.

Scott and his team were great through the whole process of our short sale. They were professional, friendly, and helpful. We felt comfortable working with Scott and his team from Day 1 and are glad we did. We would recommend him for if you need a great team for a short sale, or if you are just looking to buy or sell your place. Scott really knows Chicago and real estate in general and you get a real sense he knows his craft after speaking with him. We are glad we went with him!

Newman Realty was absolutely amazing. He helped me sell my house without any hassle on my end. I would highly recommend using him as he will get your house sold in no time at all. His whole staff is easy to work with and they are very easy to get a hold of. This was such a great experience and if you are going to sell your house you should use Newman Realty if you want your house sold quickly and hassle free.

He is more than a realtor, he knows the city very well, has a lot of business connections for whatever you may need, and cares about what is going on in your life. Bought a Condo home in 2011 for approximately $250K in River North, Chicago, IL.Summary:
I was nervous about the home buying process as this was my first time buying a place. I thought it would be extremely stressful, confusing and overall something not too enjoyable. I was completely wrong as the process was one of the easier things I have done in my life. I just provided the information interms of what I was looking for, ie: location, price, specifications and how much I wanted to put down. After that they took it from there and it was a very simple process. Between my realtor Scott Newman, my lender Mike Del Preto and my lawyer Jason Sherwood I had zero issues with any of them or the process itself. Each person promtly responded to my questions with all the information I needed. And I defintely had quite a few questions for each of them. I highly recommend using these three gentleman if you are looking for a seemless move to purchasing a place!

I could not be happier with Scott. He has been a fantastic agent for us. I have had several friends go through 3 or 4 agents in their home search process, so I was amazed how easy things went. Scott listened to what we wanted, helped us identify likely houses, and showed us places that had the amenities we wanted and were within our budget.
Scott was always available for us, ready to take us to look at houses whenever we could squeeze in some time into our schedule. He was very involved and responsive, even though we were not spending top-end money in the Chicago market. We are very happy with our new place, and very happy with the price. Scott is a great guy and a great agent. Highly recommended.

Newman Realty was a great partner. Pricing the house for sale was very painful but they assisted us in arriving at a competitive price. In this challenging market, we got a qualified buyer more quickly that we could have imagined, the negotiations went smoothly and the house was sold and closed even more quickly.
