Many realtors are amateurs and part-timers. Scott Saunders is a polished professional. He handled my rental property, finding an excellent tenant within days. When I had to sell an idiosyncratic old house, Scott's energy, expertise, and follow-through resulted in the quick, profitable sale of a rather hard-to-sell house. Highly recommended.…MoreLess

03/30/2013 - user0901355Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $200K in Greensboro, MD.
Scott was great with helping us find our first home. We were moving from out of state so he filled us in on everything we needed to know. He knew the area very well and wasn't afraid to give us his honest opinion about anything. He was very quick with getting back to us whenever we had a question. If we ever were to look for a new house, Scott is who we would call.…MoreLess

Scott helped us find our "dream" shore home. Our knowledge on "over the bridge" properties was limited, at best. Scott's experience and expertise on eastern shore real property was more than we could have hoped for. Scott's homebuilding experience was an added plus. He was very helpful while looking at properties identifying some things that we, the buyers in our limited knowledge, might otherwise overlook. Since we were travelling hours to look at various properties, we traveled together and it gave us a lot of time to talk. Scott was able to offer history in every area we visited and also point out the plus and minuses of certain areas. Since we were focused on properties near the water, his experience, was key for us. Scott understood that this was a once in a life time decision for us and paid special care in making sure that we saw a variety of homes that fit our criteria. At one point, Leon and I were spending hours online looking at so many properties. One particular time, we emailed Scott about 8 properties of interest. Just a few days later, we received in our email, videos of each property. This was such a time saver and unexpected (we live in western Howard County and all of these properties were over the bridge and beyond). The house we ultimately fell in love with was tastefully decorated and quite charming. The owners did a very good job with all of their selections. Although the house was not advertised "with furniture" Scott suggested that we make the offer to the Sellers and we did, along with a letter that Scott helped write. He was our lucky charm in deed. We are now the proud owner of a beautiful home that we have been dreaming of for 25 years. Scott's friendly demeanor, expertise, patience, and care are extraordinary and we believe that it distinguishes him from most in this particular profession. Scott is simply a nice guy. Scott's help was sincere and genuine; at no time did we ever feel like we were being pushed or hurried in our search. Scott became our first friend on the eastern shore. We would recommend Scott to anyone who is looking for that special home. Sincerely, Leon and Malissa Kirszenbaum…MoreLess

I really appreciate your kind words. While you certainly made me "look good", I think you should have given yourselves some credit. I really enjoyed the enthusiasm that you both gave to the home search. It is folks like you that make me glad I get to do what I do for a living!

Thank you for taking a moment to read my reviews as you search for "the perfect agent". Much like there is no "perfect house", I doubt there actually IS a "perfect agent"; but, I do take tremendous pride in the job I do for my clients- especially with those who have little knowledge of our beautiful Chesapeake Bay area.
I like to think that I began my career in real estate around the age of 11 when my father, a home builder, started me out cleaning houses for pocket change. I learned a lot "starting at the bottom" and eventually became a field superintendent for him. From there, I guess you could say I "grew into the job". After college, I struck out on my own and was a custom design/builder for 25 years and also held a Maryland Home Improvement Contractor's license for many of them. I was a licensed Realtor for for approximately 10 of those years, but mostly focused on building and land development projects.
Anticipating the housing crash, I sold most of my land holdings and "semi-retired" but decided to reenter the industry as a full-time agent in 2008. Since then, I have consistently been one of the top producers at Coldwell Banker Waterman Realty. I am proud to build upon my more than 30 year relationship with this brokerage. Our office is one of the most productive in the region and I highly value the folks that surround me here as complete professionals.
Finally, I can promise you this without equivocation: You will find me relaxed and "no pressure". My goal is to help you resolve your need whether listing or buying. I am a communicator by nature and a problem solver by training over many years.
I hope you will consider giving me the opportunity to be of assistance. I look forward to hearing from you!
