I live in the Bay Area and found Scott on Yelp, based on his high rating. I'm writing today to say that he has totally lived up to that rating with me. I engaged with Scott in late April to consider selling a rental home in Modesto, that I had a 50/50 interest in, with a partner. As the home was a rental, it needed substantial repairs and maintenance to bring it up to show ready status. Scott went out to the home immediately and assessed the issues, inside and out, providing photos of everything. He also provided estimates from his many contacts to perform the work, all of which we used. Scott managed all the repairs (even fronting payments for work completed) and in less than 2 weeks time, the home was ready to show. Scott held the first open house and one week later, we had two offers to choose from. At this time, my partner elected to pull out of the deal, and buy out my interest instead of selling, even after he had approved the listing engagement upfront. Scott and I were both extremely disappointed, but I can say that even with this turn of events, Scott remained extremely professional, knowledgeable, and ready to go the distance for the client. I will highly recommend him to anyone selling property in Modesto.
