Bought a home in 2014.

I worked with Scott on my first condo purchase in the city of Boston. He knows the city like the back of his hand. Scott is attentive to your needs, a great listener and gains an understanding of what your looking for prior to showing you any properties. He executes "on demand" service and is available whenever you need him. What I liked most of all about working Scott is that he stayed involved during the entire condo sale process from Offer write/acceptance to P&S and Closing. This was extremely helpful as a first time buyer.

I definitely recommend working with Scott.

Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $1.625M in Beacon Hill, Boston, MA.

My wife and I highly (!!!!!!) recommend Scott Farrell and Atlas Properties if you are buying a condo in Boston. How often do you find a realtor that * is very knowledgeable, yet also receptive to feedback, * has extensive knowledge, yet continues to learn, * is highly responsive to emails / texts / phone calls, regardless of the day or time * is always diligently trying to identify ways to help you complete the purchase, * is helpful in many ways beyond the actual purchase, including, for example, recommending an architect for the roof deck we will install, and * has a good sense of humor, helping take stress out of what can be a challenging situation.

Our first contact with Scott and Marc, the owner of Atlas, was July 2012. We completed purchase of a penthouse condo in Beacon Hill the end of January 2013. Without Scott's diligence, it would never have happened. Although we have owned multiple houses, this was our first condo, our first property in the Boston area, and we were buying remotely from more than 1500 miles away.

Only after the owner accepted our offer did we learn that he had multiple state and federal tax liens on the property, totaling a significant fraction of the purchase price. This dramatically increased the complexity of the purchase. In addition, unfortunately, the owner was initially reluctant to be fully open with his own realtor and real estate lawyer, much less us. This further added to the challenges Scott faced. He took the initiative to contact a tax lawyer that educated us on buying property with tax liens. He worked closely with the real estate lawyer that my wife and I selected, who also had experience with tax liens. It certainly appeared, from my perspective, that Scott understood the tax lien related challenges of this condo purchase better than the owner's realtor, who was an experienced professional with one of the larger firms in the area. She actually called him for updates.

Late in the process, we learned that the owner was actually personally negotiating a "short sale" with the IRS. This added to the complexity of what was already a complex deal. Scott remained diligent throughout the two delays in closing, maintaining his optimism and ensuring all key participants, including the owner's realtor, were constantly updated.

We cannot thank Scott enough for helping us acquire a condo we really like. In the process my wife and I developed a new friend, who is continuing to help us with our new condo. Bought a home in 2014.

My fiancé and I had an amazing experience working with Scott. We were first time buyers and Scott was helpful with all of our many questions and always made time to talk us through things, regardless of the time of day. Scott quickly understood our needs, likes, and dislikes, and we were able to find the perfect condo within a few weeks. His extensive knowledge of Boston neighborhoods and total honesty helped us understand what location would be best for us. Scott never made us feel pressured into buying something that we didn't love. He has an expansive network of people that helped us through the buying process and also minor renovations after we moved in.

Working with Scott was a pleasure and we look forward to working with him again in the future.
