Found a tenant for a home.
We listed our condo in Long Beach with Scott to find a rental tenant. Scott found us a corporate tenant who has been with us for three and a half years paying what we believe to be top of the market rents. We've always found Scott to be responsive and helpful with communications between ourselves and the tenant. We would highly recommend Scott to anyone needing help in the Long Beach area.

with the real estate market as low as it's been, you want an agent who has your best interest in mind who will treat you with integrity and not someone who is just telling you what you want to hear to look out for their best interest. scott and his kato group team did treat me as if i was their only client and they were very responsive to my questions throughout the process. this was one the most seamless if not the best real estate transaction i have dealt with. i couldn't of felt more comfortable with my transaction. i would highly recommend scott and the kato group for your next real estate transaction. i know i will be a return client.

Working with both Scott and Jessica as our agents was an extremely positive experience. They were knowledgeable, helpful thorough in our home search. They helped to make the process as smooth as possible. On numerous occasions, they were quick to set up viewings of listings at a moment's notice and helped our family find the perfect home. I received top notch service and expertise with Scott and Jessica. My questions were answered quickly and honestly. It is hard to find professionals with such integrity and knowledge. Bought a home in 2013.
What a great group of professionals. No matter what time I called they immediately returned my phone call, I highly recommend them if you are planning on buying a property. The Kato Group is very knowledgeable of the area and even after closing I was contacted by Jim to see how everything was going. I will definitely be using the Kato Group on my next purchase.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $250K in Poly High District, Long Beach, CA.
This is my mother's first time to buy a house in United States. Since English is not our first language. At the beginning we found an asian realtor who could understand our first language. We asked him that we really love to buy a Long Beach house. However Long Beach is seems for only English speaker to live. The asian realtor had no idea about how to get the houses' permits in Long Beach. He told us $60000 downpayment was not enough to offer any houses in city. We could only buy a house in the desert. We was very disappointed at that time. I really love Long Beach when my first time getting in such wonderful new place. I will never forget Long Beach. Since then I had decided once we had money we would buy a house in Long Beach. I searched key words on Google and finally we found Scott Kato and it's phone number. First time was Jim Crotwell heard my call. In the phone he understood that I was a bad English speaker with only $60000 cash but trying to buy a Long Beach house. I used my broken English to ask a first English speaker agent to buy a house in Long Beach I knew that was kind of ridiculous. But surprisely Jim did not hung up on me. He was kind enough to listen what I needed. Sunday (I forgot was really on Sunday or Saturday) was a day the office should be closed. But Jim went to the office to meet us. The office was gorgeous. I really loved the design in there. We gave our informations to Jim and then he printed out which houses that we could get with that price. Long Beach houses was not as expensive as I supposed. After couple weeks we found a house that we really loved. At the beginning we did not have enough money to offer that house. But Jim trusted us that we could get more money by soon. Since the house owner was usually not been in the house. Rosy tried so hard to get the permit and let us to see inside of the house. After we saw the house we loved the house so much. And then Jim helped us to offer it. There was couple people offered the house. Jim helped us to offer the house with a reasonable price and called owner's agent many times in order to let the owner sold the house to us. If we found another company as our agent we might be impossible to get such wonderful house. When the house was in pending. The owner was trying to break off the contract and getting the house back. Jim had fought the house back and we got our first house finally. Thank you so much, Jim and Rosy. After all we had a great experience to buy our first house. We will find Scott Kato as our agent in the future time. Both my mother and I highly recommend Scott Kato to everyone.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $425K in Lakewood, CA.
I met Krista Hertzog (showing specialist) at an open house and filled out the basic sign in forms with email/phone info. The very next day Jim Crotwell (lead buyer's agent) was getting in touch with me. This is my first home and they were both amazing to work with. They both answered and handled questions and concerns I had with care and thought. They worked with my work schedule to see homes on my lunch break. Krista even came out to the home (that I did eventually purchase) twice in the same day so that I could see it again. I'm happy to say that the purchase of my first home went as smoothly as possible. And I have Jim and Krista to primarily thank for that.
