Bought a Multi Family home in 2014 for approximately $250K in Bonita Springs, FL.
Searching for a home from out of town can be a daunting task. When we found Scott, (after months of searching with another agent) he jumped right in and went on a crusade to find us just what we wanted. Scott made the process much easier for us by knowing the area so well, having an innovative plan to best secure a property for out of town buyers (even in a sellers market), and a highly motivated work ethic. Within 24 hours of arriving back into town and meeting with Scott, we had seen many homes, and made a decision. Scott's aggressive negotiating skills helped us secure a fair price and work out any kinks that came up prior to closing. We would highly recommend using Scott Riddle for your buying or selling needs.
Found a tenant for a Single Family home in Estero, FL.
When we decided to start the process of buying a winter home, we had the opportunity to work with Scott. His knowledge of the market in Florida helped us find the perfect location to build our new home. He was there every step of the way! After the sale his service didn't stop there! We live in Ohio and he is our go-to-guy. Our drapes weren't ready to be hung before we had to leave Florida so Scott let the guys in for us. He stops in on a regular basis just to check up and make sure everything is ok at the new place! He has already found us renters for this winter. He will be handling all details for us! Scott has Definitely went "above and beyond" for us!! If you want the best deal with Scott!!
Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $700K in Bonita Springs, FL.
Scott assisted us in the purchase/sales of two condos over the past couple of years. Being from Michigan, his knowledge of the area was instrumental in helping us find exactly what we were looking for. When it was time to negotiate deals, he really came through for us. His communication was excellent and he is such a great resource for pointing us in the right direction for everything including furniture stores, contractors, restaurants, etc. He has always gone over and above our expectations of what a real estate agent.
Scott has a very good understanding of real estate values in the Naples Fl area. Unlike other realtors in the area that I dealt with over the last 3 years, Scott also did a very effective job in representing my interests in negotiations with potential sellers. I would certainly use him again and have no reservations in recommending him to others, particularly those who are new to the Naples area.
Bought a home in 2013 in Willoughby Acres, FL 34110.
Scott truly earned our business. He was referred through a friend. My wife was at first very skeptical, but time after time, Scott proved to know the real estate market and demonstrated same on numerous occasions. While Scott is an excellent at all aspects of his profession, there were a couple times where he was difficult to reach, but that is only because he is working his tail off for his clients, not goofing off. For someone who negotiates everyday and has done so for 25 plus years, he was a pleasure to watch. He handled a very difficult situation superbly and got us to close a deal where many others would have failed. There is no question that if someone asked me for a referral, his name would be the only one I would give out.
Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $150K in Naples, FL.
Scott is one AMAZING!! individual. He is very knowledgeable and resourceful when it comes to real estate. He helped us buy our first house 2 years ago. He always followed up and gave us good advice when we needed. He is always very professional and honest in everything he does. We dealt with other realtors in the area and non came close to his caliber. Most just wanted to make a quick sale and did not care about what we wanted. One agent even told us that we could not see a house that she had listed because we did not want to share our pre-qualification price. Scott is respectful and conscious of his clients needs and wants. We are extremely happy with our purchase. He negotiated an amazing price for us that people around us still talk about it today. We will recommend him highly to anyone that is looking to buy. You will not be sorry to choose this great realtor.

Scott has provided superb service as I investigate purchasing a property in the Bonita/Naples area. Update- When I visited the Bonita/Naples area in February 2013, Scott showed me a number of properties that fit my criteria. After I returned home to Maryland, I made an offer on a property and Scott represented my interests during the negotiation and subsequently the purchasing process. The out of town settlement went smoothly and now I am very happy with my property. I highly recommend Scott!
My family (From Chicago) was just in Fort Myers for vacation, then we started looking for the properties. We met Scott Riddle. He is very sincerely friendly. Most of all he knows what he is talking about. The in and out of the area. He provided us the infos that we need. He went beyond to help us understand all the details. Absolutely, the best real estate agent ever worked with. We live in Chicago but we continued the business and processing via Internet. He made everything so convenient. Will RECOMMEND IN A HEART BEAT.
Helped me rent a home in Bears Paw, Naples, FL 34105.
Sadly I have had a very unpleasant experience with Scott Riddle unlike the buyers on here. This real estate firm facilitated a rental for me. Scott had another agent assisting me, and when I was not given parking passes needed to keep ones car from being towed in the community I rented in, I contacted Scott. He was extremely rude to me and sounded put out he was being contacted at all. After politely informing him my guest was towed due to the passes not being supplied, instead of "I'm sorry", he responded with an attack towards ME, the tenant! Apparently my rental fee held little importance or priority to him like a big sales commission does.
He again had the other agent handle the passes after my complaint. When the guest passes were still not arranged for, I called him a second time. This time he swore at me on the phone and with even greater rudeness let me know he was totally uninterested in this need or this call. I was flabbergasted! I contacted the owners who apologized for the whole thing. So if you're buying you may be safe, but if there is a smaller commission involved, you should avoid Scott Riddle and Realty Direct. He just doesn't care about you and your piddly needs. I am a teacher and professional .Rarely have I ever been treated with such an attitude of disrespect and unprofessional ism. This was an exception. When I go to buy a home in a year or so, I will avoid this real estate firm at all costs.
Response from Scott on 12/08/2011
It always strikes me when someone will talk bad about a person that they have never met and won't put their contact name on a review. This renter came begging to my asst to please help her find a unit and she needed to be in ASAP. My asst got her approved and set the move in date to find out she moved in early without permission and got towed. There is a lot to the story she is leaving out. Where is the praise for getting her approved in less than a week from the HOA, being able to move into a beautiful unit and helping her out of a bind since she was forced to move out of her prior condo since she broke the rules and got a dog without permission. I have been in the business for a long time and have a proven track record of superior service and go above and beyond for all of my clients. I guess misery likes company and it is a shame to talk negative about someone you have never met.
