Ratings & Reviews

Sean and I first met in August of 2014, as I was just beginning the search for my first home. I'm a pretty independent guy who researches a lot before I make decisions, so I had a pretty good concept of what was out there and what matched my wants/needs. We met up and I was immediately impressed with his passion for RVA, his knowledge and experience specific to The Fan, and his determination to get me what I wanted.

My requirements were <$150k and in The Fan. Not easy to find a nice place in The Fan for what I was willing to spend, but Sean found me several places that I hadn't seen and immediately arranged for viewings and picked through my preferences. We found a renovated warehouse condo that I fell in love with. Sean connected me with Whitney Watson, an outstanding lender. These two made for a powerful duo that wouldn't accept no as an answer when we ran into difficulties in the purchase.

Due to my colorful credit history and a few other unique aspects to buying this property, we had to have it FHA approved. Sean and Whitney kept the ball rolling during this long and tedious process (outside of our control) and ensured the sellers remained on board. Finally, in January, we received approval and everything went very smoothly from there. I am very impressed with Sean's passion for getting me the home I wanted. It wasn't passion to make a sale, he genuinely cared about me getting this specific place. I feel that I have not only made a great business contact through Sean, but truly a friend too.

Thank you Sean! For the rest of you, be wise and pick Sean to handle your purchase/sell. I promise you that no one will work harder and smarter.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $250K in Northern Barton Heights, Richmond, VA.

Sean went above and beyond the call of duty to find our family a house. Sean got to know us and learned our taste and found us our dream house. Through a traumatic closing process Sean made sure that everything was perfect for us by the time we moved in. He is a bull for his clients. We would recommend him a hundred times over. 5 stars indeed!

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $100K in Northern Barton Heights, Richmond, VA.

We have relied upon Sean's knowledge of the market and properties in the Brookland Park, Barton Heights, and Ginter Park neighborhoods to make two investments in this quickly revitalizing area. He is highly responsive, easy to work with, and we look forward to working with him in the years to come.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $250K in Bellevue, Richmond, VA.

There is no one else I would entrust the restoration and sale of my 80 year old home to than Sean Craft. His professionalism, meticulousness, knowledge of the market, and love of maintaining architectural integrity resulted in my home being sold within one day on the market for more than asking price. I cannot imagine a better outcome with any other agent.

Sean has a great local intuition. His ideas were key in the decision making process of our rennovation. With Sean's, help we had a contract on our house only 6 days after listing. We highly recommend Sean to anyone trying to sell their home.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $100K in Northern Barton Heights, Richmond, VA.

As someone raised in Richmond, I was impressed at how much Sean was able to teach me about my hometown. I was searching for an older home in Northside and Sean found the right one for me the day it was put on the market - he definitely has his finger on the pulse of the housing market for the city of Richmond.

He has really sound advice for those seeking to purchase a home (especially older historic homes). He is not afraid to be honest and tell you exactly what hoops need to be jumped through for any option that is being considered. He is very professional and did not hesitate to motivate the selling agents to fulfill their end of the agreement even when they tried their best to stall the purchase.

Overall, Sean was a definite pleasure to deal with throughout the purchase of my first home. Even after my closing date, Sean cares enough to call and check up on me even though our formal transaction has finished.

The biggest difference with Sean (as compared to other realtors I have dealt with) is that he really cares about his clients. Try him out and you'll see why I think he's the best in Richmond!

Sean was very nice, easy to deal with and we were so impressed with his impressive knowledge of the Richmond area. He knows the neighborhoods very well so you won't spend any wasted time driving around all day looking for the right house. Sean has lived all over Richmond so really does know the feel of the area, not just remembering a sale in that area from last year. He found exactly what we wanted within days. Believe me, our house is one of a kind and he knew exactly where to find that house. We didn't think closing would be very easy as there were some concerns, but he got it done very quickly and we couldn't be more pleased. Haven't we all had bad experience with an agent? Yes! Call Sean and don't worry anymore!
