Shan was extremely helpful in finding me my first house. His determination and understanding of my needs was the main reason I was able to find a house. He has exceptional knowledge and experience. Sold a home in 2013.
I highly recommend Shan Saigal to buy or sell a property. He is an extremely patient man. He never showed any hint of annoyance. He was always very prompt in answering my calls. I often dropped in his office with no prior arrangement only to find him all ears and very helpful. He really adopted my transaction as if it were his personal. No pressure form his end whatsoever. My case was very involved. He showed focus,endurance and professionalism in bringing to very satisfying closure.

He understands the clients requirements thoroughly and will do only what is best for his clients. His endurance throughout the process to provide the best property to me is highly regarded. His property knowledge, ability to finish up the deal fast, providing both good/bad about a property and personal care are his best qualities that I noticed when working with him. Bought a home in 2012.
Shan has helped us search for a home that suit both our needs and price range. We viewed many homes and Shan was always patient and understanding. As a first time homebuyer, we were totally inexperienced in the homebuying process. He guided us all along until we received our keys to the new home. We are very happy and will refer friends as well.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $600K in Evergreen, San Jose, CA.
As part of our relocation from Massachusetts to the Bay Area, Shan Saigal helped us out. We contacted him in Jan 2012 and closed on our home in San Jose early June 2012. For those who are familiar with the relocation process, it is much more involved where the agent has to work with the seller's agent, relocation company (and its guidelines) as well as the financial instituitions. Shan handled the entire process with expertise and professionalism. My Wells Fargo mortgage specialist described his dealings as "Shan has been the best Reat Estate Agent he has worked with. He was on top of all the issues and coordinated all the events in the best way that made the loan apporval and closing meet the deadline (less than 25 days)".
Even after the home sale, Shan took care of the house while I was still in MA, and, after the family moved in, he made sure that we had settled in and had no major issues. My family and I are thankful for his advice, guidance, patience and all the assistance he had provided before and after the home sale. I would strongly recommend his services.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $600K in Santa Clara, CA.
I have to say, I had the best broker experience ever with Shan and his professional team. Shan helped us narrow down are initial search area after carefully discussing our family and commute needs. He spent a good amount of time analyzing our needs and understanding what is important for us in a house. He has a very nice web application that crawls the MLS listings and sends you daily picks that you can then review and it register your feedback automatically with a great deal of automation that makes it easy to work with. Through out the entire three month process until we closed in on our house, Shan was always reachable and supportive throughout the whole process and when we had issues with finalizing our loan. He is an excellent negotiator and communicator and understands this profession and market very well. He was our buyer agent and really impressed us with his high ethics and how he had our full interest in heart, and how he genuinely put our interest above all, contrary to previous experiences we have had in other transactions. We highly recommend Shan for any real estate transactions, he is definitely a great asset and we look forward to the next time to work with Shan again and enjoy the pleasant experience.

Please do not ever work this person, Shan. He is so unprofessional that I can't describe in plain words.
Not only did he misrepresent my case, and caused me heavy loss, he also acted very badly and totally unprofessionally afterwards.
Please do not go to this person every, unless you want to pay a heavy price. I made a huge mistake of trusting him though I did not know personally simply because I always felt that it is not right to suspect any body without reason. Now, I have learned my lesson, not to trust any body without actually verifying the background and checking the review.
I sincerely hope that this review helps you, the reader from not facing the issues that I faced, when I worked with Shan..

He got the best possible deal on the home, which is now worth a lot more than he paid for it. It was a multiple offer situation, and we were able to get him the home. He was given all documents to read and review and he accepted all the terms. He took things into his own hands by breaking into someone else's storage space, without checking with the HOA. Even though, it was his error, he was compensated for his loss, as we wanted him to be happy. We take care of our clients, and they have all appreciated that.

shan has thorough knowledge of local bay area market which helped me narrow down the search area based on my preferences. He has a lot of experience in real estate and it shows. It is hard to find agents that have knowledge of all the submarkets in bay area. He is a very keen listener and is constantly steering the course based on your inputs. When needed his expert negotiation skills come in handy. He was able to push people to complete the transaction on time and eke out few extra perks for the buyer using his negotiation skills.

Fantastic RE agent. With very good knowledge of Bay area market. Has helped me in quickly zoom in on area desired and also proper sections of town with price range.

Bought a home in 1994.
Shan Saigal is trusting, honest, straight to the point, detail oriented person.
He helped us purchased our home in the early 90's. He was hardworking and made sure that we met our expectations as a buyer. I remember at that time we made an offer, I called him late at night, The following day he kept on giving us an update until the seller accepted the offer. We also asked Shan for refinancing and again he was always there to help. We can really count on Shan night or day. I will absolutely recommend him to my family and friends.
