   Seigel Takes The Gold With Top Producer Honors

Shawn Seigel has for the second consecutive year been announced as winner of the highly-coveted Staten Island Board of Realtors (SIBOR) Top Producer Gold Award.

In a real estate market that is  - and has been - charitably called sluggish at its best, Mrs. Seigel has once again risen to the top of the Staten Island real estate agents list by continuing to run her business based upon its core principles: honesty, integrity and respect.  "Those principles can only carry me so far, though" Mrs. Seigel explains. "What truly sets me apart from the rest of the crowd is my desire to strive for the best situation for all parties invloved in a transaction - buyers, seller's, other agents, attorneys, appraisers, mortgage brokers.  They're all integral parts of a real estate transaction; and I'm equally adept at dealing with all of them in order to facilitate a quick and succesful transaction".

A 15-plus year veteran of the New York and New Jersey real estate sales business, Mrs. Seigel has enjoyed her two most successful years in 2009 and 2010, while the rest of the market continues to flounder.  When asked what she attributes her great success to, she replied "it's certainly not always easy, especially dealing with people whose credit has been damaged, the banks' tighter lending policies, and out-of-town appraisers, but my experience goes a long way - I'm extremely persistent, but I'm not pushy, which I feel is very important.  I don't feel comfortable putting someone in a house that's not right for them, or in a financial situation which will come back to haunt them.  Basically, I treat people the way I'd want to be treated.  At the end of the day that creates what every successful business wants and has  - happy clients, repeat clients, good word-of-mouth, and results, which for me translates to sales".

The amount of sales Mrs. Seigel has facilitated has been staggering in order to meet - and in her case, greatly exceed - the stringent SIBOR criteria to be considered for this prestigious award.  When pressed further on the issue, Mrs. Seigel - whose track record indicates that she's equally skillful at handling vacant land, commercial, and residential properties - replied that "my marketing strategy is very unique: its a combination of cutting-edge technology combined with good old-fashioned proven real estate methods.  Plus, I never rest on my laurels, and I'm always available - day or night, weekday or weekend.  My clients like that."
