    Sold a home in 2012.
    I had the pleasure of working with Sherry as a buyer and seller in parallel. As a seller Sherry kept me informed of what was selling successfully in my area and what I could do to compete in the sellers market.     Bought a home in 2012.
    Sherry just saw us through two very difficult home purchases. One was a short sale - with all the attended madness; the most recent was a conventional that became very hairy due to my broker getting behind on his paperwork. Sherry is aggressive just when and where she needs to be, and a voice of calm and understanding when we needed it to hold steady. She kept after the other parties involved and made things happen. She answered my every call swiftly and reviewed and explained each step along the way.

    Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $150K in Beacon Hills and Harbour, Jacksonville, FL.
    Sherry was my real estate agent in two recent transactions (2011). One property was commercial land and the other a short sale residence. Both transactions were handled professionally, promptly and without any issues.

    Sherry's strengths are her knowledge of Jacksonville, knowledge of the real estate market especially in these shifting times and her communication skills. She is extremely thorough in communicating via email and phone. She is readily available to look at properties and keeps looking until she finds the right fit for her customer.

    Married 40 years to husband, Jim. Licensed 45 years. Hobbies include golf, boating, gardening, crafts and spending time with family and friends. Member of the Watson Realty Corporation's President Award, National Association of Realtor, Florida Associate of Realtors, Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, Watson Realty Luxury Specialis.  I'm also a Member and Newsletter Editor for Arlington Newcomers Group. Past Member of the International Downtown Association, Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, Florida Citrus Sports Association Board and Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitor's Bureau.     Prior to entering real estate, I began my career in Florida's hospitality and tourism industry with Walt Disney World, Hilton Hotels, the Helmsley Spear organization and Church Street Station/Rosie O'Grady's of Orlando, which was Florida's 4th largest tourist attraction. While at Church Street Station, I was nominated for Orlando's Business Woman of the Year by the City's Mayor. I was presented with a Key to the City and had the extreme honor of having Feb 11, 1988 proclaimed Sherry Martello Day in Orlando.

    A move to West Palm Beach in 1988 resulted in a career change, when I joined the WPB Downtown Development Authority, where I spent 6 years as the organization's Director of Marketing and Communications.

    My husband's transfer in 1995 brought us to Jacksonville. I felt home immediately because of the friendliness of the City's residents and found great pleasure in North Florida's seasonal weather changes. I owned and operated 3 Great Clips hair salons, beforing selling them 2006.

    A short retirement found me anxious to return to work and more importantly, to interact with people. I made the decision to utilize the real estate license I had obtained more than 25 years ago. I joined Watson Realty's Hidden Hills Office in 2007 because of Kay Vrooman, who sold us our first home in Jacksonville and because of Bill Watson's unsurpassed work ethic and dedication to customer service.
