Bought a Single Family home in 2013 in Lincoln, CA.
Reviewed as a buyer's agent. Silke invested a lot of time into ensuring we got the property we wanted and guided us through the offer process. Negotiating on our behalf in a sellers' market, she secured concessions from the sellers that we initially thought we could not get in a competitive market. She also linked us to a lender with great service and very competitive rates.

Sold a home in 2013.
I chose Silke based on her reviews and I must say she did not disappoint. She is very knowledgeable, motivated and hard working. We were in a situation were we were on the verge of foreclosure and in the end were able to walk away avoiding the foreclosure with money in our pockets. Her guidance was invaluable and we can not thank her enough.

Sold a home in 2013.
Silke was very professional and persistent in getting to the end goal of selling my home. Having to deal with the bank for a short sale is not an easy task but she was up for the challenge and after two buyers (one fell through) and a year of going back and forth with the bank she was able to get the deal done.
I gave her 4 stars in process expertise, not because of what she did but due to another agent that had been assigned to work on my project. The other agent seemed overwhelmed and not as responsive as Silke was. When the deadline was coming near, and the other agent was not responding in a timely manner, Silke assigned my project to another agent that took the reigns and got the home sold. All in all, i am very satisfied with her services.

Without reservation, I recommend Silke Kirkwood for anyone seeking information or contemplating a real estate transaction. She was the consumate professional in both assisting us in procurisng in newly constructed home in Vineyard Pointe last Summer and sucessfully sheparded us through the "Shot Sale" process of our house in Heritage Park this Spring.
Through both processes she kept us totally informed and uptodate on the processes. She demonstrated an extensive knowledge of real estate market and processes as well as an extensive familarity of the available inventory in and about Sacramento County. Silke is a very pleasant and truly professional. Any one using her services is in for a truly satisfying and rewarding real estate experience.

I highly recommend Silke as a realtor. We were new to the area, and she very patiently showed us many, many homes in the area we thought we wanted. She didn't try and push any alternatives, but when we finally realized we needed to change direction she was there with recommendations that led us to find the home we purchased. Silke is a very strong negotiator, and was 100% there for us as we worked our way through appriasal issues and a demanding out of state lender.
Finally, Silke helped us with local knowledge about the contractors and landscapers we needed for our new home.
Super reliable, informative and patient, she is the ideal realtor. She helped is to remain positive in a very difficult market.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $400K in Village 2, Sacramento, CA.
I found Silke off Zillow.com and have not been disappointed at all. Her knowledge of the Natomas area is impressive and her prompt responsiveness is outstanding. I have already mentioned her to co-workers and friends as an agent to definitely use when they are in the market to buy/sell a home. Thank you Silke!

Silke was very professional and responsive while helping sell a house. She answered all my questions in a timely fashion. Her email responses were coming as fast as text messages. She kept us in the loop throughout the entire selling process and explained every step in detail so we knew exactly what was going on.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $350K in West Sacramento, CA.
At fist we were hesitant to switch realtors since we'd been working with the same one for 9 months, but we took a chance and it paid off. We put in one and only one offer with Silke the same day she became our realtor and it was accepted in less than 2 days!! Silke is extremely knowledgeable and aggressive in her field, but she is also well-connected and very communicative. She always kept us in the loop and went above and beyond what her job entailed, remaining confident that even when things seemed bad we would come out on top. We are SO VERY GRATEFUL for having worked with her and we highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a house.

Having been provided with two realtor referrals from my local SF Bay Area realtor, I selected Ms Kirkwood after interviewing both. I found her both personable and professional with a no nonsense, concise and straight forward approach. Refreshing. She was very accessible and indulged all my first time home seller questions. Her knowledge of the area, both of properties and the local personality dynamic helped in standing firm in the pricing of my property and having it sell for approximately $20K over the amount that had been generally suggested by other realtors.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $225K in Creekside, Sacramento, CA.
Silke helped me successfully short sale my old home. The entire process took less than 5 months and involved two lenders. The situation involved both business and personal complications. I was dealing with the stress of a pregnancy and subsequent newborn during the process and she took it upon herself to manage everything, personally and business-wise, requiring minimal effort on my part. She negotiated with the parties so that I had zero out of pocket expenses, a much needed relief. I believe she went above and beyond her duties as a realtor to make this a successful short sale process for all parties involved. She is not only a consummate professional who will fight with you until there is nothing left to fight for, but she is a very kind person. I hope to have the opportunity to work with her again in the future.
