Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $250K in Highlands Ranch, CO.
The Margolis Team was able to find me my dream house very quickly and efficiently. All of the staff that I dealt with were all very knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. Perhaps my favorite thing about the Margolis team was their availability for questions and quick responsiveness. I would definitely recommend the Margolis team to any of my friends and family.

Damon Eddy is very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous as our (buyer specialist for The Margolis Team.) We were able to contact Damon day or night if we had any question's regarding the home we were wanting to buy. Damon explained the real estate language we didn't understand, he kept us updated frequently on the completion of the contract. Bought a home in 2009.
Damon had went above and beyond what most realitor agents would of done. Once we decided on a house that my wife and I wanted to buy, he had sent our proposal to the seller's agent (short sale). The seller's agent was one of those from a quick fix credit company who had very little in the way of ethics. The seller's agent, after realizing the house was more valuable than the listed price, made every attempt to throw road blocks in the way of the purchase of this house. The negotiations got very ugly but Damon did a great job of negotiating through the road blocks and getting us into the house. What impressed me the most was Damon's high level of integrity. He wasn't afraid to get in the mud, but wouldn't do anyone dirty to get the job done. Because of Damon's ethics, I would recommend him and the Margolis Team to anyone who was interested in buying or selling a home.

Darren, Thank you for the kind words about our team. By working as a team we were able to spend necessary to help you get your home purchased without any legal action being taken. It was one of the most stressful situations that I have been a part of because of the potential of fraud by the other parties. The fact that you stop by the office and pop into say hello does show how much you appreciated all of our hard work, and honesty. We are very excited that you and your wife are very happy in your new home. See you soon. Brian Margolis

Working with the Margolis Team was the best decision we took. We told Brian exactly what we needed and that's excatly what he did. He understood our needs and worries and helped us sell our house very fast. Veronika is great with all the closing process, and Dana is helping us buy another home she is very nice and undersands our needs. Everyone in the office is great. The Margolis team has done an outstanding job selling my house. It was listed less than two weeks before receiving a firm offer. The team has been very professional and I definitely recommend them to anyone trying to purchase or sell a home.

If you are dealing with an expensive home that warrants a large commission, my assumption is that this agency might be more willing to be willing and steadfast in their response to help but otherwise look elsewhere.

In dealing with foreclosures I would avoid them at all costs. They are unfriendly, non-responsive, unprofessional and untrustworthy. Case in point the description - the description of the foreclosure listed what the property included and come to find out the a/c unit that was listed in the sale was removed - and what was there response..."well that must have been an oversight, it happens sometimes." And when asked what could be done to make the situation right, they said "nothing, but if you want to back out of the property you can, but you will lose your earnest money" - clearly they were in the wrong, unwilling to accept fault, and more importantly they handled this in a very poor manner. Nothing was ever done to right the wrong and there were several other instances of tact and erroneous statements which leads me to believe this type of experience has been had with others.

Although my experience was less than mediocre, maybe yours will be better. Good luck.

Hello Chester J, Unfortunately, I am not familiar with who you are, for you were not a party of this transaction. I hope that you will call or stop by the office so we can discuss. Since this is a public site, I want to add that for the record the other agent representing the Buyer was given ample notice and options when the issue was reported. The Buyers earnest money was safe and options were given. The Buyer and their agent protecting them decided to move forward to a successful closing. Again, please call me on my cell 720-352-0454 to discuss further. Brian Margolis

Brian Margolis, The Margolis Team, was one of three interviews I held with Real Estate Agents/Brokers. All three had strong recommendation, Brian’s came from the home owners and auto insurance agent. The Margolis Team was selected based on the best fit for my needs which included listening, presentation of the plan for sale, interaction with potential buyers and demeanor. Based on my experience, and I have dealt with many home sales, I recommend The Margolis Team for those looking at selling any type of real estate. . My situation was a bit unique as I do not live in Colorado and this was an estate sale. My brother and I were both involved in the process and we needed to ensure our Realtor could managed all things including the little things (i.e., placement of flyers) in my absence. . During the initial interview, Brian Margolis clearly stated the process and who my primary contact would be during the sale (due to my schedule I was not able to meet the Team until later). Brian asked pertinent questions to understand my situation and wishes. He also kindly yet firmly stated things about the house that may (1) help the sale or (2) draw some hesitation from a potential buyer and what to do to minimize the impact (an example was to use nice towels on the outdated gold towel rods to distract the eye). Brian also provided a handyman referral, offered his box truck for moving items free the cost of gasoline and was willing to assist in any estate sales if needed. . After the initial interview, Brian presented a market analysis that had three listing prices with explanations based on the market and duration I was willing to have the house up for sale. He was the only Realtor that offered this unsolicited. Based on all these items, I made the decision to go with The Margolis Team. . Once The Margolis Team was selected as the Seller’s Agent, I engaged the Handy-man, Russ Knodel, recommended by Brian. Russ did a walk through and commented on things that an inspection may request to be done. He was hired to do the job plus cleaning the carpets, tile flooring and touch-up painting. Russ was efficient, reasonably priced, and adjusted his schedule to accommodate my needs and timing. Russ also suggested companies to engage, such as a contractor to certify the furnace, and those companies were up front businesses and prompt in handling the tasks. Russ and I review the list of things to do and he completed tasks with a cost conscience and without the need for follow-up. . Veronika Morton was my primary contact with The Margolis Team. She was prompt in returning calls and proactive on situations thereby eliminating the need to call her. Veronika is also a Notary and she came in on her day off to assist in notarizing documents for my benefit that impacted potential offers and the sale. She was excellent at explaining things and keep Brian in the loop. . Once the house was on the MLS market, potential buyers that visited the home were asked to complete a survey to provide feedback about the house to The Margolis Team. Those that responded stated similar things that Brian had previously told me, such as the outdated gold accents in the bathrooms. This approach was a good way to solicit feedback and take action if necessary. . The first weekend of being listed on the MLS exceeded all of our expectations. On the following Monday I met with Brian and Veronika Morton to do a quick look-back on what was working and suggestions for the future. Both were open minded and listened to my suggestions, which were minor, such as updating their checklist of things to complete prior to listing on the MLS. The checklist included a number of things including the task to complete a pre-check of the Title to ensure things moved smoothly once an offer came in (something I definitely wanted to be a clean process). . During the review of offers from the first weekend, we had a couple unique situations, which I will keep confidential. Brian met with me twice and took time to contact the other agents and work with the situations. I could tell he treated the other Agents with respect and as customers, even if the offers were not being considered. He explained things and showed integrity throughout the process (not just for me, his paying customer, but for the potential buyers and their Agents). . The Margolis Team is a small yet mighty team that works closely with you as an invested partner not just a manager trying to get a sale recorded. My brother and I were pleased with the process and recommend working with The Margolis Team to anyone thinking of buying or selling real estate. They met my expectations and bring integrity to the table. .

There are several things I find "top notch" with Brian....at the top of the list is his integrity. Brian is open and honest with all communication....something I appreciate.

He is quick to respond. Brian makes sure that he, or someone from his team, is always available.

Brian has a strong commitment level. His follow-up is timely......when he says he is going to do something...he does it.
