We are first-time home-buyers and just bought a house with Spencer Lane as our realtor. He was recommended to us by a friend who has bought and sold two places with Spencer, and we would not hesitate to give Spencer our highest recommendation to our friends and family. In fact, we have already have, as one of our friends is currently working with him to buy a home. It is hard to say enough good things about Spencer, as he really earned the five stars on each of the dimensions above. I think that everything he writes in his self-description is accurate. I suppose the point that I would want to add and emphasize here is that he really took the time to get to know us, our preferences, and our needs. He responded very skillfully, meeting us exactly how we needed to be met at each point along the process. We felt like he was a very good fit for us. However, I have come to recognize that this was not a chance match, but due to Spencer's skill and flexibility in knowing and relating to a wide range of clients. Our friends (both those we referred and those who referred him to us) are quite different from us in many ways, and they have had just as good an experience with him. He has a rare combination of real estate knowledge and relational skill that will be of huge benefit to his clients. He has a lot of experience and a lot of business, which does not surprise me because of his level of skill. However, I would NEVER have known how busy he's been until I saw this page of his transactions in the past year. We were working with him the whole year, and he was exceptionally responsive, reliable, patient, and straightforward in his approach. He gave us as much time as we needed, and we never would have know how busy he was. I am glad that we found him on our first try. He will be our first call for anything real-estate related in the future.
