Real Estate was not in my original plan - once out of college and graduate school, I was rip roaring ready to teach secondary English. I taught English and Speech & Debate, and coached the cheer squad, for three years at Middle Park High School in Granby. Though I enjoyed teaching (for the most part,) I felt that I wasn't 'in love' with it and craved a change. More Less
Living in a small mountain community, there weren't too many other options, but I felt that I might as well try something new while I was young enough because I could always go back to teaching. In 2003, I made the leap into real estate and never looked back.
What I love about real estate is connecting with people and the excitement of it all as we look for the perfect vacation property or primary home. Or to help my clients sell their property so they can close one chapter in their lives and move happily to the next, or at the very least, be freshly released from a financial bind.
On a personal note, I hail from Pennsylvania but I have been living in Colorado since 1995 - first in Boulder & Longmont, and then to Grand County in 1998. I'm an alumna of CU-Boulder, an animal lover, a freelance writer, and an avid cross-country skier and snowshoer. I'm married to the one great love in my life and I have two yellow labs, Archer and Beam.
