My Name is Steve and I have practiced Real Estate for almost 20 years. I have only been In Chicago since 2011 however it has become home.I sell or lease Condos in Downtown Chicago and specialize in the "New East Side" area also known as Lakeshore East. I live in LakeShore East I know the buildings, and the market very well. In my spare time I teach Scuba Diving and love to travel.
Helped me rent a Single Family home in Near East Side, Chicago, IL.
Steve is the consummate professional: he found me a great place in Lakeshore East despite challenging market conditions, then when I had a personal matter, he was able to fine a new tenant. Steve is honest, tenacious and fun to work with.
I have a lot of experience with Realtors. Saying that, Steve showed me a number of units at 400 E Randolph, Chicago. I liked him right a way. He is a pleasure to work with. He obviously loves his job and people. Full of enthusiasm and information. He went way out-of-his way to help me. In fact, he went beyond the call of duty. He gave me all the information I needed and answered questions I had not thought of ...in his presentation of the property, Including history of the building, why the property was for sale, advice on the market pricing of the units based on their location, most current sales, the condition of the building and all the recent renovations. He gave me a more than thorough tour of the building and made me feel very comfortable with him and the building. He is extremely friendly and welcomed me to call him at any time, even during off business hours...with any questions. I met a lot of other realtors in the downtown area, but not one compared to Steve. We worked on two units together. I am so glad I took his advice. I got a very nice unit at a fair price thanks to Steve's advice. I highly recommend Steve Easton to anyone looking for real estate in downtown Chicago.More Less
Great broker. It was very obvious he loves what he's doing. His excitement and enthusiasm throughout the process of helping me lock down an apartment made it fun, and I learned a lot from him.
My situation was applying for a one bedroom apartment in a building down town chicago that had its units flying off the market faster than you can get a tour of the unit. I've been out of school for one year and was competing against a middle age business man it looked like to me (I know this cause I accidentally showed up to the tour of the unit too early and introduced myself to the man I was competing for the unit with thinking he was the listing agent). The other man raised the steaks with a larger offer, and I was not able to do so. In the end, Steve sold me as a better tenant for what the owner was looking for, and I got the offer.
It was a great and educational experience for me and I look forward to working with him again on my next venture for a new home.More Less
