Thanks for checking out my profile.

I know there are many agents to choose from but where i excel is in my excellence in working with First Time Buyers (and previous home-owners). I spend as much time as each client wishes to discuss the Real Estate purchasing process. One of the unique things i offer is to review a previously closed Escrow so the Buyer is comfortable with the process and has seen what the documents look like ahead of time so the they have a better idea of what is going to happen next in the transaction. I do my best to educate and protect my Buyers every step of the way so the whole experience is as stress-free as possible.

When searching or looking for homes, we will see as many places as necessary, NOT just 3 homes, like on HGTV shows.

I put out a weekly email newsletter for all my clients, which includes information on the current interest rates, articles about the current market and also the advanced list of Open Houses so you can track the market or plan your weekend.

Lastly, I am a member of the Professional Standards and Ethics Committee for the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Board of Realtors.   I have many, many happy clients and would be happy to supply referrals to vet my work ethic.

We, my wife and I, are first time home buyers and Steve diligently and thoroughly walked us through every step of the process - he's fantastic!!<br/><br/>Besides being knowledgeable, gracious, responsive and generous with his time (meeting with us late at night to review disclosures and docs, responding early in the morning to texts that were sent even earlier in the morning) - he put us first and always made us feel as though we were his highest priority, which is an amazing way to feel as a home buyer. <br/><br/>To be specific, another real estate agent was pressuring us to look at two different homes within a day and make a quick offer to avoid missing out, as the homes were about to be snatched up fast - so much so, that they wanted to show us the two homes at night, which was the only time in the following 24 hours that we had available. <br/><br/>Well, as luck would have it, we inquired about a property on Zillow and Steve was among several agents that reached out in response. <br/><br/>The difference was, Steve was very prompt - and better than that, he said looking at a house at night was a mistake, since the evening can hide concerns or issues that might only be visible or apparent during the day. I look back now and realize what a rookie mistake we were about to make!! <br/><br/>But, I loved that Steve's concern was more focused on finding us the right home than hurriedly showing us something late at night, so we could plunk down an offer and get embroiled in what ultimately might have been a disaster!<br/><br/>As a result of that initial conversation, Steve called me the next day, just to check in and touch base, and we talked for half an hour about what I do for a living, what my wife does for a living, where we work, to really assess what areas might be the best for us to consider. Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $625K in Leimert Park, Los Angeles, CA.

We, my wife and I, are first time home buyers and Steve diligently and thoroughly walked us through every step of the process - he's fantastic!!

Bought a Condo home in 2015 in Inglewood, CA.

I had the pleasure of working with Steven in the purchase of my first condo. He was very knowledgable about the process and anytime I had questions he answered them in complete detail and was very patient with me throughout my buying process. Being a first time buyer I needed an agent that would look out for my best interest and that's exactly what I got with Steven. Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $325K in Jefferson Park, Los Angeles, CA.

I had such a wonderful time working with Steven Rood. He helped me find not one, but two, houses that I fell for. He understood what I was seeking, showed me many properties that were in contention, always had useful feedback and advice to offer. In the process, I came to trust and like him.
