Jason and his team are knowledgeable real estate agents. He is personable and gets to know his clients some to help them, because he understands/knows how important a house is and how the right fit can enrich a families life. (I learned this during the process)
He evangelized the pros and cons of different aspects about houses we looked at like location & access, size & condition, schools, community centers, libraries, family life and local culture.
He understands valuation, cost of remodeling and probable return on investments for example. Cost of living and how markets swing.
He helped me find and purchase my house, which went smoothly. A nice house in a charming neighborhood. I remember while I was looking, he warned me about buy too much house, even though I could afford it.
Later when I choose to sell my house (7-8 years later), his guidance and team helped us with some updates and then sell it. We talked about valuation, the most I could expect for it and preparing the house.
Buying and selling a house is a big deal! It is going to be a little work. When I received an offer, I had to decide. It was close to the selling price. And Jason couldn't guarantee a better offer would come in. I decided to wait for a better offer. We were lucky, we could afford to wait.
Jason was fine with this and he let the buy know we weren't going to negotiate down to their price. There was no pressure from him to sell. And I wondered if I was unrealistic. Within a week, the buyer came back an offered at our asking price.
Sold! And this was in December/January.
I was grateful for his advice and his teams assistance.
