My husband and I really can't say enough positive things about John. We chose him off of a list on zillow because of other great reviews and have not been dissapointed. He was/is a real pleasure to work with. He is knowledgeable, patient and possibly the most kind person In all of Sullivan County. We are first time home buyers and John has walked us through the entire process with the patience of a kindergarden teacher. He answers every question we have and doesn't seem to have a pushy bone in his body. Something that is usually a dominant characteristic in many real estate agents I've met. His main concern truly is that we find "the right home for us". We have gone as far as a home inspection on one home, which turned up some information that, sadly, lead us to walk away from the deal. John was there every step of the way making sure that we did our "due diligence" and knew exactly what was happening and in turn how that could effect our purchase and our lives in our future home. Although we haven't found the perfect home for us yet, I know that when we do John will be right there by our sides. Needless to say, if you are looking for a lovely, honest, knowledable real estate agent John is just the guy!  More Less

John Kavalier is the best! While we were searching for a home in Sullivan County, we had plenty of online information but needed a local insider who would tie in the information to reality. In selecting a broker, I read dozens of profiles and narrowed them now to a handful. John always stood out amongst the crowd - - he was always present to work around our schedule- even last minute urgencies. He generously shared his deep understanding of the neighborhood differences, pros and cons of different types of homes, and aptly painted a picture of what it would be like to be a part of the community. John is a good listener and matched what we are looking for in all respects. From the get go after meeting with John, we knew it was going to be smooth, fruitful and easy. We were treated to a lively informative intro to Sullivan County, getting a crash course in the culture, amenities and life style considerations to factor in to our preferences for a country home. JOHN WAS VERY SUPPORTIVE OF MY DECISSION EVEN WHEN IT COST HIM SOME COMMISION HE PUT ARE DECISSION FIRST WE HAD 3 OFFERS AT SAME TIME ON 2 DIFFERENT HOUSES.HE WAS ALWAYS THERE TO TAKE MY CALLS AND HELP IN ANY WAY POSSABLE EVEN IF HE DID NOT HAVE TO.LIKE TO SAY THANKS AGAIN
