They do seem drawn to his no-nonsense style of doing business. Among other things, he's also been a house painter, a handyman, a Job Corps Resident Advisor, and a musician.

John still enjoys music. He plays both bass and rhythm guitar, and sings both lead and harmony. He's a member of an Old Time Music Band, sometimes being paid and often doing volunteer gigs all over Sullivan County. John also enjoys reading and honing his skills in computer literacy.

John Kavaller was sensitive to our needs and wishes, creative in his responses to potential buyers who came in with very unique offers, and was able to craft a deal that was quite satisfactory to us. He is articulate both verbally and in writing, which facilitated working with other sometimes difficult agents and our understanding the nuances of situations we were dealing with. With his deep understanding of human nature he balanced patience, tolerance and openness with clarity, wisdom, warmth and kindness.
