I've been originating mortgages since 1993 and have been with SunTrust since 2006.

SunTrust is a very solid bank and is well known in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. We keep our loans, you can even make your payments at any of our bank branches in addition to mail or on-line.I will provide an estimate on request along with the current rate sheet so you can see how you're risk profile has been priced as well as so you can have better input on alternative pricing of your mortgage (such as buying down the rate or utilizing a lender credit to pay some of your closing costs).

Our fees are guaranteed (800 series items) once you choose to lock in. You can lock in at the time of application or you can choose to "watch the market" while your loan is in process; the choice is yours. I'll even give you our rate sheet; you can choose any rate on it you want. (ask one of the mortgage brokers for their rate sheet and watch what happens).

Ask your real estate agent what has a better chance of getting YOUR offer accepted when you submit a contract to buy a home; a cursory prequalification letter from a mortgage broker or a solid preapproval letter from a bank like SunTrust?
