Closed purchase loan. Tara-Leeway Heights, Arlington, VA
Closed on a $625K purchase loan in Arlington, VA with Tim and team on 4/18. The locked rate and lender credit were so much better than any other lender that I had my doubts they were real. But the SunTrust team delivered as promised. Would definitely close another transaction with them.

I shopped around for a 30 yr fixed jumbo, out of the 5 lenders I spoke with, Tim had the best rate. Tim helped me locked in a fantastic rate for 90 days and held my hands through every step of the loan approval process. His team is responsive and kept me informed. Closed purchase loan. Yorktown, Arlington, VA
Tim is a 5-Star loan officer all around, and his assistant Donna and his processor Karen Wilson are both very impressive as well. I received a good online quote for a Jumbo loan, and followed up with Tim. Tim asked a few questions over the phone and was able to find a SunTrust special mortgage product which we qualify, with an amazingly lower rate and APR. When 3 other local and regional lenders approached me through referral, and provided their rate / APR quotes, they ranged from 0.50% to 0.625% higher, and seemed to be difficult for approval. I was so impressed with the rate and Tim's "Can Do" attitude, I requested 30-day lock (free) the next day (April 5) Starting then, we had a full 2 weeks (10 business days) to close, or risk with losing the deal -- it's a very tricky short sale. Over the course of 2 weeks, Tim and Donna processed everything right away after we sent our documentation, Donna is very helpful to help us prepare info for pre-processing, and Karen worked well with the underwritter and dashed to the finish line 1 day ahead of schedule -- the entire team worked so well together, my family, realtor, title company are all very impressed with their professional work.
