I created the Beverley Group in 2009 for the purpose of avoiding the strategy behind large franchising companies that concentrate on hiring  agents to meet monthly  quota's.  I felt that this approach would put pressure on agents to meet numbers and take away from servicing the clientele.  I decided to put the emphasis on customer service and created a boutique operation. 

I started in real estate when I was 20 years old.  I have played in every facet of real estate including financing, property management, commercial, and acquisitions.  I enjoy this business and prefer to be in the field as opposed to behind a desk.  Whether your property is a Luxury Home or a Fixer Upper, I would be happy to represent you.  

My personality is to  do the best job for my clients.  I honestly appreciate the business and take it as compliment when I earn my clients trust and confidence.   

I have a background in marketing and finance which I have used as an advantage when marketing my clients properties.  My business has grown not only because I retain the majority of my clientele, but because I am continuously educating myself with new market trends and products.  

My commitment to my customers is that I will always return phone calls and I will follow up with questions unanswered.  I work with integrity to set an example for my agents to follow and I treat my customer's with respect, but also expect the same in return.  If I present a strategy, I will support my claim with facts and allow my customers to make informed decisions.  I consider our association with each other as a partnership and therefore we will work together and represent each other well with organization, productivity, and a common sense approach.

Found a tenant for a home.

Although I have friends & acquaintances in the Real Estate Business, I felt it was important to work with someone that was most familiar with the San Leandro area when I needed assistance with my rental property. I contacted the Chamber of Commerce & was given several names, with Sunny Thiara being at the top of the list. Once I contacted him, he was honest about what he could or could not do for me. As promised, he called me back in 2 days & we decided to go forward. Sunny is very knowledgeable, has good communication skills & is a real "people person." We would check in with one another whenever necessary & I felt confident that I was in good hands. Although he's very busy, he always seems to manage returning phone calls & answering Emails. Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $450K in San Leandro, CA.

My wife and I were first time home buyers and knew little about what we wanted or the buying experience. We didn't even know if buying was the right choice for us. Then we met Sunny. Probably the most helpful advice Sunny provided was at the very beginning of our relationship. He was blunt and told us to make up our mind. He did this knowing the market was changing rapidly and home prices were only going to go up.

Although we struggled to find a home quickly (mostly because of inventory and investor competition), we found an awesome home in a great location! Almost just as important, Sunny empowered us to learn about real estate in depth throughout our relationship.

Sunny has impressive local knowledge, a deep understanding of every process, and great negotiation skills: He can be more up-front than most, a little busy at times, but these "weaknesses" are also great strengths. Being busy let us know he has a thriving business and allowed us to learn and take control of our purchase. His blunt, clear communication was invaluable during negotiations and closing.

We needed to repair the roof in our new home and Sunny's negotiation skills got us a more than fair price reduction. We had finances in place and great credit, so our loan process should have been simple. It was not at all. Our loan officer did a terrible job and Sunny had our back. He got us through this stressful period and we finally became first-time home owners. Thanks Sunny!

Bought a home in 2014.

We randomly found Sunny when we began to search for a home in Oct 2013. I was a few months pregnant and my husband and I figured it would take a couple months to find ourselves a decent 3 bedroom/2 bathroom in San Leandro. However, we soon found that we were competing with overpaying buyers with not a lot of inventory out there.

Since we felt pressure to find a house before the baby arrived there were many times we felt like compromising what we initially set out to find, but thanks to Sunny he never let us settle. It was frustrating to say the least, but I am very grateful to Sunny for never giving up on us finding a good house. I would assume that most agents would easily put offers on any house that their buyers were interested in, but Sunny kept our standards high and talked us out of many offers.

Another thing I liked about Sunny was his willingness to educated new buyers like us. He was very knowledgeable about things in each property we looked at that we would never have thought of. i.e. where damage was, how hard/easy it would be to change things, and how much equity/resale value the property had. I really felt like he had OUR best interests in mind and would never advise us to buy a property that he himself wouldn't invest in. This made me really trust Sunny, even though I was getting nervous that we would NEVER get a house! :)

We finally offered and closed on a property that fit our needs and we have no regrets buying in March 2014 (baby to arrive any day now). Sunny was instrumental in the entire process and went above and beyond in many aspects of it all. He really had our backs and didn't mind taking the time to explain things to rookies like us.

If I had any criticism for him it would be that he was a pretty busy guy. However, he was still almost always available to us when we wanted to talk or see a property. There were only a few instances that didn't work out, but I guess him being busy was a good sign too. I could tell he was a really hard worker and had a lot of passion for the projects he was involved in.

Also, he's good at talking on the phone and texting but he never really responded thoroughly to emails. I'm more of an email person than a phone person, so this is one thing that I wish went better. Just a personal preference, so in the big picture of things not too big of a deal.

So for out first home buying experience I think we lucked out by finding Sunny. I would trust his judgement in this process again and I appreciate all he did for us!
