Susan was an excellent realtor for our first home purchase. She patiently showed us every property we requested, giving us wise and thoughtful advice about each. Ultimately, we found the home that was just right. Susan made an overwhelming process simple.

Susan was lovely. She was great at helping us filter through all the options and figuring out what we really wanted in a home. She worked well with the other party's realtor and was highly professional.

Susan successfully helped my wife and me sell our old house in South Minneapolis and buy a condo in NE Minneapolis at decent prices during the worst real estate market in years. Our hats are off to her and she has our highest recommendation in all categories.

Susan was wonderful to work with. We were new to Minneapolis and though we knew the area we wanted to live in- we really did not know how the various neighborhoods "felt." She took us from one to the next, talking, sharing her long history and knowledge of small nuances of the Northeast area.
Eventually we did find the perfect house. She was able to very respectfully play a little common-sense hardball to the sellers agent and we all walked away very happy. Susan is smart and fun to work with, yet maintains a high degree of professionalism.

Susan is a warm, caring real estate agent with endless energy and patience. She was was always available by phone or e-mail as we looked at home after home, trying to find the perfect fit. (We did find it!)
She listened to our dreams and needs, suggested addresses, homes, and neighborhoods. She was very open to our ideas as we researched properties online. When touring homes, she helped us envision how we'd live there -- how we could modify, what the neighborhood offered, etc.
She is very honest and knowledgable and let us know if she thought something in the condition of the home was a problem. If she didn't know the answers to our questions, she researched and provided answers very quickly.
Her negotiation skills were amazing. The home we wanted (and now live in) had multiple offers, and she had brilliant ideas about how to negotiate our offer.
We have made several moves to new locations over the years, and have worked with a number of real estate agents. Each agent has their own style, and Susan's is definitely five star. Moving can be very stressful, and she made it smooth and as easy as possible.
I highly recommend Susan Jacobsen. She's an excellent agent.

02/01/2013 - user3762887Sold a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $200K in Longfellow, Minneapolis, MN.
We sold our home in September of 2008 when the market was really tough. We loved our little house and had put years of work into it, which we knew we would not really see much of a return on due to the market circumstances, but we were moving out of state and really had no choice but to try and sell it.
Susan was amazing through the entire process. She was supportive and communicative, and she did not devalue our home (as other realtors had recommended we do just to make the sale). Ultimately, the house sold for more than we had hoped and in the time frame we needed, as we were moving out of state that month!
I would absolutely recommend Susan to all my dearest friends and family (which I have done) as a caring professional who will work hard for her clients. We both really enjoyed working with her immensely.

Susan guided us through a long and sometimes frustrating process of finding the right home, giving us the most up-to-date information possible, and matching our resources, needs and desires to the existing market. Her network of professionals - mortgage agents, contractors, inspectors - worked efficiently for our interests. In the end we found a great house at a good price, with plenty of creative space and a very convenient Northeast location.

01/31/2013 - user9538390Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $375K in Golden Valley, MN.
I just moved to Minneapolis from Chicago to start new blended family. Susan was incredible in listening to all our needs and desires for specific lifestyle (and you can imagine the list was very long and often contradicting). She helped us to target specific locations and properties fulfilling all our needs.
The process was smooth as a home purchase could be.
Susan has great personality and is knowledgeable not only about the local real-estate market but about the live in Minneapolis as well. We had some great talks about art, cultural events, outdoors and dining.

We worked with Susan three years ago to buy our condo in St. Paul. The condo is a great home but we are now both retired and are looking for different space. We have just signed with Susan to sell our condo and to find a new home in the area. She listens well, is pleasant and easy to work with, and is very professional. I would recommend her to anyone either as a buyer's agent or a seller's agent or, as we are doing, both.

12/03/2012 - EduardoGallegosParraSold a Single Family home in 2000 for approximately $125K in Cleveland, Minneapolis, MN.
Susan was our realtor representing us when we purchased our first home together. We purchased during a very competitive time in the real estate market. Susan was always there recommending us new properties when one did not work out or meet our needs. She was smart enough to steer us away from certain properties that were in rough neighborhoods, needed too much repair or just didn't meet our lifestyle needs. She finally found our dream home on a nice street across from a city park. We couldn't have done this without Susan's direction and partnership.
