I started my real estate career in 1996 at Wimberley, Texas as a Land Man. Selling 2 to 5 acre vacant lots in what was to become a community of over 200 single family residential homes. It was quite an experience selling dirt and I learned so much about people, their dreams and desires. I was named Salesman of the Year my first year in the business.

In 2000 I returned to my previous home in Los Angeles only to begin my residential real estate career with a small boutique firm named Fred Sands. Fred surprised us all and sold out during my first year in the business and so I went to work down the street with a larger firm, Prudential CA Realty. My manager at the time asked me where I wanted to focus my attention and I pointed toward Beverly Hills. I finished at their office before leaving Los Angeles, becoming one of their top salesmen in 2005. It was quite an experience to help entertainers, writers, and the like discover a place to hang their hat.

Everything changed though after a new client asked me to help locate a home for him in Lake Tahoe. I had visited the area before but just for a quick in and out ski vacation. As I explored South Lake Tahoe for my client's retirement home I soon discovered the beauty of the area and realized this is where I wanted to spend my life. I had grown up in a small community outside of Houston and the thought of moving to an area like Lake Tahoe appealed to me. Why wait to retire to live the life you want, I said.

So here I am in South Lake Tahoe. I've learned the neighborhoods, the local customs and disclosures, and I feel I've obtained a good grasp of the real estate marketplace.
