The Rhode Island real estate market has been problematic for several years due to the housing collapse. Unfortunately, I bought a condo in 2008 (which I loved!) but had to relocate for work in 2011. The unit turned out to be incredibly difficult to sell as I couldn't accept such a severe loss. The agents at Taylor & Company (very specifically Nelson Taylor and Robin Lake) were just phenomenal to work with. The situation itself was frustrating and difficult, by my representation was always sunny, optimistic, and easy to work with. When selling became impossible, they found the most wonderful tennant to rent to for 2 years. When the house went on the market again in July of this year, they had it sold by September! No, I didn't get everything I wanted. And no, it isn't a fairy tale ending. But through their patience, dilligence, persistence, and hard-work I got what I needed. A reasonable deal for a very difficult economic and real-estate market in that state. I have nothing but good things to say and recommend them highly, without any reservations.
