My wife received a wonderful job offer in Denver which we decided to accept. But it meant we had to sell our Vancouver, WA house in a market that is notable for its wretchedness. So we felt like we were stepping out of a plane without any parachute training!
But we made two wise moves: We chose Terrie Cox as our agent because she's #1 in the Northwest. And we spent nearly 3 months fixing, painting, cleaning and decluttering -- the house, we figured, had to look as if it came out of a Disney movie in order to attract and sell in a slow market..
The house was made to be pristine, and Terrie Cox and her staff, are top notch. She set a price that was ambitious, marketed the property through her full network of sites, and we received 2 full price offers within days!
I recommend Terrie highy. She's bright, pleasant, no nonsense, extremely experienced and well organized. She and her staff will treat you like yours is the only house they've listed. Sold a home in 2011.Summary:
Terrie has been our agent for three real estate transactions, the last of which occurred while we were in France. We received an unsolicited offer for a home just as we were leaving for a month long trip. We called Terri and she took care of all the details. This often meant she had to call us at night her time to talk to us on France time.
But then we never expected less than Terri. In our two previous transaction she always followed through on what she promised, gave us excellent advice and made the process as painless as possible.
