Bought a Condo home in 2012 in Austin, TX.

Summary:

Terry recently helped us purchase a house in the Lakeway area. One thing I really like about Terry is her communications skills; any time I emailed or left her a message I would receive a response within minutes, sometimes seconds! Terry's local knowledge is amazing, she told us the good and the bad about areas so that we could make an informed decision. When we went out to look at properties with Terry, everything always went smoothly; she was well prepared, planned ahead, made appointments and planned a route that made the most of our time. Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Lakeway, TX.

Summary:

Terry was exceptional throughout the process of my home purchase, so much so that i have come home immediately from closing to write her review. I am a first time home buyer and i travel a lot for my job so i had to have someone that was flexible, knowledgable and who streamlined the whole process for me as much as possible. About Terry Byford

I have spent my life in "helping professions" and my 15 years in Real Estate as an Agent and Broker have proven to be no different!

I received my BA in Elementary Education from the University of Miami and my first career was teaching in a migrant program for children in rural areas near Miami, Florida. Following a move to Houston, I spent many years as an Executive Assistant and Paralegal.

Then on to Austin where I began my Real Estate career in 1981, became a Broker in 1983 and was consistently a Top Producer until my move to California in 1990. I returned to school and earned an MA Degree in Negotiation and Consulting and was a trainer and consultant with Oracle and other Bay Area firms. That training has helped me negotiate top dollar and terms for my clients whether buying or selling.

I've been back in Austin since early 2004 when my husband and I moved to Lakeway and I began my second career in Real Estate. In 2009, I received my Broker's License again and opened my own Brokerage, Austin Curb Appeal Realty. I love it as much as I did the first time and don't plan any more changes!

I have a daughter who owns an Insurance Brokerage in California and a daughter who works for the City of Austin. When I'm not out with clients, I'm out on the tennis court, walking, reading or surfing the web.
