03/05/2013 - Bob MASold a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $675K in Somerville, MA.
Thalia just sold our condo in Somerville. I sold my last condo myself. It worked out well for us, so I thought I knew a fair amount about real estate; but working with Thalia taught me more than I ever imagined about real estate and the current market. She knows Somerville inside out. When we first met with her she told us what our condo would sell for under various scenarios and she was spot on; and we were very happy with the result (mulitple high offers). She left all the decisions to us but always gave us fantastic advice (some of which I know was against her own interests--but to our advantage). Moreover, she was totally committed--available at all hours and always working hard for us--often well beyond the call of duty. She is extremely sharp, skilled, and knowledgeable. Based on our experience, I am confident you will do very well (both in terms of getting a good price and having a smooth sale) if you let Thalia sell your home.

Thalia was at best disappointing. She did not show up for a meeting scheduled with her one week in advance. She claimed she did not have my number. When I called her, she promised to stop by in 20 minutes, but she remained a no show. She does not seem to be too tech savvy either, she never got back to my text message I sent to her.

I'm sorry you were disappointed that I was not able to see your listing last week. I was also disappointed and did leave you a message letting you know that I would not make it. I love Boston St. and its amazing views. I'm sure it's a wonderful listing.
It is a very busy time of year and I do my best to keep up with everything, but things do come up that are beyond my control. I try hard to please people, but I'm not perfect. Since you said you had other agents viewing the house that eve, I assume you connected with others you can work with. I wish you good luck and look forward to seeing the house when it is listed.
To be clear, we’ve never done business together, so your review is about the fact that you scheduled an appointment I was not able to make. At the top, the review indicates I sold your listing in 2012, but we never actually met. I may be wrong, but I think these are meant to be reviews of people you've actually worked with. In any case, I wish you well.

Thalia was awesome. We had a rushed house-searching experience (being in town only a few days on a visit) and Thalia completely came through for us! It was our first house-buying experience and she was very patient and helpful in explaining everything. She was also incredibly helpful as we tried to negotiate the system remotely from Germany and took time to help make things happen from this end. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a place to buy in this area!

Thalia is the best agent I have ever worked with for the following reasons.
1) I had to go through 3 agents that were not that smart - Thalia is a very sharp person. 2) She is 100% committed to the community - she is always giving back - Davis Sq businesses, gardens clubs, homeless foundations and the list goes on and on. 3) She lives in Davis sq and knows the Somerville/Cambridge area like the back of her hand. 4) She knows the laws, city and people in the community. When asking questions about a property - Thalia always knows the answer or the place to find it out. 5) She follows up - what a concept! 6) I have referred multiple friends to Thalia and they always come back thanking me for the referral! 7) Thalia is a master negotiator.

Thalia was eternally patient and helpful. Because of a complex family situation, it took us five years to decide which house to buy. Throughout all these years Thalia never tried to push us to buy something and was showing us a long list of houses. When we finally found a place, she was very professional, negotiated well, and made the process very smooth. She knows Cambridge and Somerville inside out, not just houses but everything else that will make your daily life pleasant or difficult.

Thalia Tringo is the best kind of agent: very knowledgeable and smart, rooted in the community where she works, professional but not stuffy, and extremely thorough in her approach. She is also deeply ethical. Throw in the fact that she's wickedly funny and a mean baker, and you've got the ideal agent! We've worked with Thalia on two purchases and a sale, and she's been responsive, flexible, patient and honest. She knows the market very well and understands what strategies are necessary to help each client. I highly recommend her.

I am an attorney who has worked with Thalia Tringo on numerous real estate deals over many years. She has an intuitive feel for the marketplace and a comforting touch with clients. I recommend her completely as an honest, trusted broker who has successfully handled deals both large and small in a professional and savvy manner. I respected her so much that I even had her sell my own home.

Thalia made the entire process of both selling our old and buying our new home as stress-free and easy as we could have imagined. For nearly two years, she navigated the house hunting process alongside us (and our neuroses), always providing candid and responsive advice, never putting her own needs or opinions above ours, and all the while honoring our admittedly belabored process. Not only is she an expert in all aspects of the real estate landscape, but above all she is truly and fully invested in the communities and individuals she serves. For Thalia, this work is a labor of love, and her passion for what she does makes the entire experience one of learning, laughter, and joy.

Thalia is an absolutely incredible realtor. I was looking for a home in a specific part of Somerville and she stuck with me for FOUR years until I found my dream condo! She always kept me posted on the latest inventory in the neighborhood and was available and accessible for showings and open houses. In addition, and perhaps what is best about Thalia, is her personal dedication. My closing was complicated and she never got flustered, she was always there to talk with me on the phone and she saw it through to the end.
A+!
