Alex helped my wife and I buy our first home. The best part about working with Alex was that he listened to what we wanted. He only sent us links or showed us homes that met both the qualities (location, 3+bdrms, 2+bathrooms, 2+ garage) that we were looking for and were within our price range. He was responsive and friendly. He was willing to accomodate my busy schedule and never made it feel like it was a burden to him to show us homes, even after the first few sessions where we didn't find the right house. Regarding his honesty, there was one house specifically that we really liked that he told us he believed was overpriced. If he had given us a hard sell, we would have made an offer on the house, and made his job easier, but his priority was doing good job for us, even if that meant more work or ultimately a lower commission. While his knowledge of the market, process, and technical aspects was excellent, I enjoyed working with Alex because he made us feel comfortable with the whole process. I would, and have, recommended him to other potential buyers or sellers.

Alex helped us find a home in the specific area that we were interested in. We looked at over 20 homes with no pressure from him to make a quick decision. I feel Alex is a strong agent for several reasons....
1. He knows his client. We were very specific and very particular on what we wanted. We did not want to waste time nor be sold into the wrong house. We gave Alex a list of homes and price ranges we wanted to see and he returned with similar matches he found himself. We were in some houses for 15 minutes and some for 1 minute. Each time, Alex let us do our own looking and if we had questions or showed interest, he gave us the details. If we didn't like a house, it was back to the car and on to the next. In short, Alex lets you feel comfortable in the search process as not to push you into something that's not your dream.
2. Alex is patient and readily available. When you realize Alex's income relies on selling a house, it amazes me how patient he was with us. We did not once feel like we were rushed into a sale. Alex let us take our time and drove us from house to house often visiting several over and over again until we were certain. I cant explain the importance of patience for a first time home buyer and Alex gave us customer service that is beyond the salesmen norm. Further, he made every Saturday morning available for us-it says a lot about a guy who can give you a month of Saturday's to look at 8-10 houses per day.
3. He closes with care. He walked us through the 60 day close process. He answered every little question we had along the way. He drove to my office to pick up missing documents. He estimated our close date and came in right on time with delivery. He made it possible for us to close on the exact day we wanted to ensure we had movers and work scheduled to avoid excess costs. In the end, Alex left us a great welcome package on the island kitchen and attended our house warming party. Not only do I consider Alex great at what he does, I consider him a friend, business contact, and the guy I refer to anyone looking at real estate purchases or sales.
