Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $450K in Camarillo, CA.
Val and Shirley were the best!!! They helped us find the perfect home and treated us like family. We used a VA loan to buy this house and it was such a relief to have agents who were knowledgeable in this situation. We highly recomend Val and Shirley as the perfect agents to buy or sell your home!!

Bought a home in 2013.
My experience with Val & Shirley Acosta, I would like to say Val was a man of his word, the property that i was interested in was in escrow with multiple back up offers, Val promised me if it fell out of escrow he would give me a call, sure enough out of the blue he called and said, "It fell out" I promised you I would give you first chance.. So from there i was able to meet his partner Shirley. I would like to say through the whole process Shirley was on top of everything to make sure things went smooth. I was c.c. on every Email and informed from start to end. I would also like to say Val & Shirley don't mind getting there hands dirty, when the tenants moved out prior to closing, the property was left with a lot of trash, I stopped by the property one afternoon and there is Val & Shirley cleaning the trash up personally!! I could not believe it. I would like to say they are very professional, kind, caring people!!! I would defiantly use them again in the future for any property transactions, buying or selling.. Thank you, Val & Shirley for a outstanding job.

Val and Shirley were patient, kind , thoughtful and very very helpful. I will Recommend them to any relative or friend with real estate needs. They showed us many homes anytime we needed, at any location we desired. Gave us great advice when it came to making an offer and also very detailed in any paperwork to follow.

I couldn't ask for better Realtors. Val and Shirley are amazing. They continually keep you abreast of everything that is going on. Their knowledge and expertise combination makes them a top notch team. They are so driven to succeed on my requirements that I had no worry at all. I'd definitely recommend them!!!!!

Shirley and Val did a great job of helping me locate a home. They understaood my requirements and did not waste my time showing me homes that I most likely would not like. Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $1.1M in Camarillo, CA.
We knew Shirley and Val as neighbors for many years before selling our home in 2011. Shirley is the long-time President of the HOA for our development, and I was always impressed with the conscientiousness she brought to that relatively thankless job. We engaged her to sell our $1M+ home into a very tough market. The job was made even tougher by the fact that we had to move away, and the home remained empty. First and foremost, Shirley put together a strong marketing program with beautiful materials we felt reflected our home well. She was persistent and creative during the many months required to sell. Because we were absent, Shirley and Val went above and beyond to ensure all the "annoying issues" (water leaks, last-minute potential buyers, gardening and repairs, etc) were take care of seamlessly. She did a great job of keeping us informed, and handled the closing paperwork with ease. Finally, Shirley exudes professionalism and optimism, and it is a pleasure to work with her. She and Val make a great team, with their skills complementing each other, but with a common dedication to their customers. I was very fortunate to have Val and Shirley Acosta as my agents. My experience with them made up for the disappointment and dissatisfaction I went through when I bought the same house years ago. I highly recommend them for their professionalism. I learned a lot from them, as they negotiated and represented my best interests - while remaining ethical and fair during the whole process.
