Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $400K in Ramona, CA.
I brought with me a lot of baggage and a demanding list of wants and needs for what I expected in my new house for my wife and family. The Barron team began working with me right away, showing me houses months before I was finally positioned to where I could make offers. Moving into California from out of state and coming from a house twice as big for a little less than the same price, they were very patient with me as I had to revise my priorities several times and expand my search area and explore new communities. They listened to me and made recommendations on communities I was not familiar with and brought to me whole new opportunities I did not know existed. The fact that they started working with me and showed me houses on the market before I was able to submit any offers was huge. It helped to expedite the process once I was in position to submit offers. It helped me to gain an understanding of the market, narrow down the community where I afford to live and obtain the best value in a home on the market right when prices and interest rates started their recent climb earlier this year. Without their immediate assistance, I would have missed the opportunity to purchase the house when I did which would have resulted in additional cost and decreased value. I performed many independent searches on the internet, but when it came down to it, my wife and I feel that out of all of houses we looked at, the one we bought was the best one for use, the best value, location and amenities and it was the Barron team that found this house and secured the acceptance of our offer through their professional working relationship with the sellers agent. I am convinced now looking back with our FHA financing and offer made less than 36 hours after the house was listed on the market that had they not done what they did when they did it, along with their professional reputation with the other agent, we would have missed out on the opportunity. In this market, it was not a matter of what you wanted or what you could afford; it was a matter of get your offer accepted. The Barron team did this for me and I got not just an offer accepted, but an offer accepted on the house we wanted. My focus was in the north county communities along I-15 between Scripps Ranch and Escondido which eventually expanded out to include Ramona and the San Diego County Estates. Their knowledge of all of these communities was impressive, informative and helpful in making our discussion on a home that was right for us. They made the entire process very easy, systematic, staying on top of the process every step of the way and never once dropping the ball. This was key and allowed me to focus on my job at work. They worked with my agent on the sale of my house out of state, my lender etc. maintain constraint open communication all of the time seven days a week. Let me just say this, “We closed on our house here just nine days after closing on our short sale out of state.”

Janice Barron did a superb job executing our house sale. Her knowledge of the local market in terms of both properties and nature of the bidder dynamics was impressive and accurate. In terms of execution, I think she went above and beyond to ensure all the details of getting the house prepared for sale were completed. During the process she was always reachable and returned emails promptly. She chased all the participants to ensure a smooth closing.

As I read over this review I realize it looks like the kind of review that some establishments might write about themselves, but that is how I feel about her handling of our sale.
