Steve and Debbie are absolutely amazing real estate professionals. I have worked with them to buy and sell 6 properties over the past 13 years. I wouldn't dream of working with anyone else.

From advice about staging, timing of open houses / showings and navigating the complex process of making offers, going into contract, inspections, disclosures, etc. they were with me every step of the way. They are not only smart and professional, but also calm, cool and collected. Real estate transactions are stressful. They made themselves available 24/7 to answer my questions, listen to my concerns and calm my nerves when necessary.

Owning my own home has been a lifelong dream. I couldn't have done it without Steve and Debbie.

Sold a home in 2012.
When we were ready to sell our Pacific Heights home, we immediately thought of Debbie and Steve Dells. Firstly, because we knew how successful they have been, and secondly, because we knew our house would need special treatment. They immediately saw its possibilities (in spite of its rundown condition), and heroically set to work to make sure that it was presented in the most saleable way - and in a very short time. The results were remarkanle: it looked so attractive that we almost wanted to buy it back ourselves. Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $1.975M in Mission, San Francisco, CA.
Debbie and Steve Dells have been THE reason we've happily and smoothly purchased 2 homes (and sold one) in San Francisco proper in the past 2 years. They were there when we were ready to buy a TIC without looking at anything else in the area--and supported and guided us as first time home buyers. We became friends through that process--and over dinner once, I described to them our dream home--a single family home in Mission Dolores with a garage, back yard, and room for a growing family. Months later, Debbie emails me--"I know you have a 2 month old, but I thought I'd send this your way..." They took us to the Broker showing, and were there for us every step of the way throughout the buying process--advocating for us and advising us re: purchase price and all the logistics in between. They also found us the best staging for the best price in town and set us up to sell our TIC for above our asking price in a fairly weak TIC market... On top of it all, they are stellar, sweet, and grounded people whom we have come to consider some of our closest friends. We cannot say enough good things. We are certainly very grateful for their presence in our lives both professionally and personally.

Steve and Debbie Dells recently sold our San Francisco Diamond Heights home of over 15 years. Their level-headedness was an enormous help throughout the preparation for sale and negotiating the bumps in the road leading to getting onto the market in the timeframe we wanted. If we had it all to do over again we would enlist their help during the selection of our pre-sale paint and flooring contractors. Their referrals to excellent contractors and handymen were a goldmine for us in recovering from our poor choices. Our original contractors were incompetent in numerous ways resulting in work that turned into an enormous, seemingly unending tale of errors. Our nerves were frayed beyond belief! Thankfully, Debbie stepped in to take charge and make those parties understand their fault and she was able to lead the charge to resolve the issues. The schedule of the sale was critical for us. We even had to market the house before being done with all the work. Debbie and Steve did a remarkable navigating these issues especially after the home came on the market. It certainly made their job harder but there was always helpful encouragement provided throughout the process. Their calm and professional attitude in dealing with all of our obstacles really saved us. We sincerely doubt most Realtors would have been able to handle the situation. We had a 90 day contract and frankly were skeptical of being in contract by the end of it. Debbie and Steve were very helpful in helping us set a realistic asking price based on current market conditions and in the end we walked away with more from the sale than we had privately hoped for. Our move to our new home was able to take place in the timeframe we hoped and we’ve been able to start our new lives and jobs in a new home. The Dells did an extraordinary job of helping us to prepare our house for sale, pricing it, marketing it, and shepherding us through the closing process. We were hesitant to invest in refinishing hardwood floors and hiring a stager, but the investments more than paid for themselves. The Dells photographs, postcards and web postings to publicize the house were very professional and generated the interest needed to generate multiple offers in twelve days. The offer we accepted appeared very straight forward, but the escrow process was anything but simple. The Dells were masterful at setting our expectations and helping us to be patient, and they really made a positive difference in running interference and negotiating at every turn. Selecting the Dells as our real estate agents was the best choice we could have made.

Sold a home in 2010.
Steve and Debbie were incredible in helping me sell my condo. You really get 2 skilled agents for the price of one. Together, they sold my unit quickly and at a great price.

Debbie's expert advice whipped my condo into shape and ready to sell. She knows what's important and what's not... Steve's professionalism throughout the negotiation phase was a god send. Things can get quite emotional when you're talking big money. Steve's seen it all and finds the right balance in being an advisor but ultimately letting me call the shots.

One of the most important things in working with an agent is setting the price. Too high or too low and you can end up not selling or leaving money on the table. Steve and Debbie brought market data, comps, and sound judgement about the true value of property. In the end, we priced it perfectly which allowed me to sell in 30 days.

Bottom line, I've had experience with other agents where they really just want to turn over houses as quickly so they can make more money. Steve and Debbie are honest, professional, they really want to see their clients happy. They're not just in it for a quick buck. Throughout the process, I never felt rushed or pressured into making decisions that benefitted them.

I highly recommend the Dells and would work with them again.
