Bought a home in 2010.
Elizabeth and her team are professionals and very capable. We were new to the area on a corporate relocation and found Elizabeth very skilled in dealing with the relocation company, banks, closing attorney's, and sellers. She is willing to go the extra mile and work hard. We visited 28 homes over a three day weekend.

She has the best web site in the area that is easy to search all listings by neighborhood, school, price etc. The ability to view past sales and comparable homes helped make our search more efficient.

I highly recommend Elizabeth and her team.

Lauren Gillespie and the entire Elizabeth Gray-Carr team supported and represented us throughout our search and purchase. I would highly recommend Lauren and the team. Genuine interest in our needs, extensive knowledge of the market, discretion and flexibilty are among Lauren's best qualities. The team approach was impressively coordinated. Tracy was outstanding with follow-up and details related to the contract and closing. This generated a tremendous amount of comfort and confidence for me throughout the process. 5 stars is not enough!

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $150K in Anderson, SC.
I decided to use Elizabeth Gray Carr real estate because her team was helping my mom sell her house at the time. Elizabeth got me in contact with Lauren Gillespie about looking for my first house to buy. Lauren was a great agent to work with and would meet with me at my convenience to look at houses. She emailed many houses to me that she thought I would like and within my budget. She helped me look at houses from Anderson all the way to Easley. Lauren never complained about traveling far either. After finding the house I wanted and put the offer on, she transferred me to her office to handle the rest of the process. Tracey at the front of the office was very helpful and kept me up to date with everything that was going on from termite inspection and house inspection to the appraisal. She lined up the date for me to sign my contract and got me all the information I would need to close on my house. I would recommend Elizabeth Gray Carr Team to anyone looking to buy or sell a house.

We are so glad we found Elizabeth. Please read our story. I hope it will bring her customers who are looking for an ethical and efficient real estate agent. She deserves it! Elizabeth sold our house on August 19, 2011. She waited 3 years to get paid from us. As we live today in Europe, she organized everything for us. We didn't have to come to the US for closing. She was quick on emails, finding answers to our questions. She and her competent team were very communicative. We always knew what was going on. This is our story: In 2008, she found us 2 hesitating buyers that became excellent tenants. It was a good opportunity to stay put during this difficult time. Thinking of our best interest, she accepted to help us. She usually does not manage rentals but did it for us given the market situation. She answered their requests and the different repairs. In 2010 when our tenants left, we put the house back on the market. She suggested minor and well focused enhancements to improve the first impression of potential buyers. She requested different quotes (painting, cleaning), selected suppliers and made the best of the $2.000 we gave her to sell quicker. She even went to the local store to pick and buy light fixtures for us. 2 months later, she had found a buyer and advised us during negotiation. Hundreds of similar houses were on sale at that time. Unfortunately, the buying agent was not as sharp as Elizabeth. The buyers had a couple late payments in the last 6 months before applying for loan, their application was denied. They had then to wait 6 winter months to clear these late payments before they could apply again. She succeeded to keep the buyers as tenants paying full rent during that time. In April 2011 when they applied for the second time, their application was rejected. Elizabeth took charge of that and found them the proper mortgage using federal loans. Their loan application was approved one month later. The story does not finish here. 2 days before the first closing, 2 major issues showed up during the property survey. Part of the dining room was encroached on the neighbor lot. We did not request the survey when we bought the house. Bad idea. Once again, she advised us and organized everything to understand the situation. A settlement, to the best interest of all parties, was found within 2 months and the house was sold. Best of Luck!

Bought a home in 2011.
Working with this team was a good experience. The entire process was made a lot easier by the the organization, in particular the closing specialist who was a big help in the final week before closing. They also have one of the best web sites that we've ever used when looking for real estate.
