Malcolm helped me navigate a very complicated short sale process on an investment home I owned. He provided me with excellent advice in every step of the process and was relentless in working with both mortgages companies as well as the buyer. I am very grateful for Malcolm's assistance in this process.

Malcolm has been very helpful from the beginning of home searching process to signing paperwork and making sure all the necessary steps of acquiring a home have been taken. He is always there when you have questions on when you need a recommendation on anything to make a decision on purchasing the right home. Very pleasant agent to work with. I will recommend Malcolm to any person who needs to search and purchase a home especially first time home owners like myself.

Malcolm helped on a long journey of buying a second house back here in Washington. He was also very helpful when our financing fell through days before closing. Malcolm and his amazing wife Rosemary make an amazing team.

Bought a home in 2014 in Nisqually, WA 98513.

Malcolm was an asset when looking for our home to purchase. He wasn't concerned with selling us any house. He was just as focused on helping us to find the right house for us as we were. He looked at countless houses with us. He educated us on characteristics of homes in the Pacific Northwest, as we are from the East coast. Malcolm is knowledgeable, made himself available to answer questions via phone, text, and email, and even checked in with us to see how our move went. He went above and beyond, getting to know us as more than clients, but as people. We feel like he truly cared about us.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $125K in Montesano, WA.

Malcolm worked with us to help us find the perfect home for us when it came to location, features, size, and price! He showed us houses from Aberdeen to Olympia, and never hesitated to meet us at one of the MANY places we looked at. Working together for a few months (we put offers in on 3 houses that didn't work out), we were able to find a great home and I couldn't be happier! Despite his multiple deals in the works, he made it a point make time for US! A good friend did our inspection for us and said that Malcolm was by FAR the best agent that he had ever met! I would not hesitate to recommend him in the future.

Malcom Maughan has been better than I could have imagined. As a new potential home owner, I had no idea what actually was involved in purchasing/ owning a home. Malcolm and his wife Rosemary, helped me every step of the way, from simple questions of homeowning when we started, to actually having Malcolm help me fix my garage doors after I was a homeowner. I was even able to call them on the weekends and very late at night if I ever had a concern that I wanted to address. He has always answered every question and concern, even if it had me walk away or turn away from a potential deal and fought hard to get my earnest money back from a property I decided not to purchase. I consider him and his wife family friends, and will only use them in the future if I ever decide to sell my house or purchase a new one.

Thanks and very much appreciated, We “walked away” from a Fannie Mae REO Home. It was a good deal for us. Fannie Mae had agreed to replace the septic tank. We went to closing, documents ready to sign. Then Fannie Mae informed us they would not replace the septic tank, were terminating the deal and they wanted to keep the earnest money. (Why I still do not understand). Talking to Fannie Mae is not an easy task. About 2 months later after many phone calls and a lot of effort we managed to convince Fannie to return the Earnest money. Luckily we never had to submit the problem to interpleading and a Judge. This would have swallowed at least 50% of the Earnest Money. Once again Thanks for believing in me. It took time but we beat the giant.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $125K in Shelton, WA.

Malcolm treated me well during my search for a new home. He knows all the best fishing places too! During the purchase process Malcolm was diligent about maintaining contact and keeping me apprised of every situation and every possibility of what might happen with a bank-owned home purchase. There were no surprises except that the sale went through quickly and relatively painlessly, something that rarely happens with bank-owned properties. I'm glad I had Malcolm on my side when it came time to buy.
