We were one of 34 offers on a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom rancher in the Monte Verde neighborhood of San Bruno. Sara and Dave are awesome! My wife and I had no idea what we were getting into buying our first home and when we met them at a open house, we immediately connected. Once my husband and I decided to jump into the Bay Area real estate market, we knew that we needed someone that we clicked with. We met Dave at an open house that he was hosting in San Carlos and hit it off with him immediately! We described our interests/type of home we desired, as well as budget, cities, neighborhoods, etc. By the next day, Dave set up our MLS portal with our search criteria and set up a follow-up appointment with him and his wife/team member Sara.

Escrow closed in 21 days!

Sara and Dave are not only fabulous realtors, they are also just genuinely nice people. We had a great experience working with them and highly recommend them.
My husband and I looked for a house for more than 2 years before putting a single offer in, and Sara and Dave never tried to rush us or force us into buying anything. They explained the whole buying process in lots of detail so that we felt comfortable about what we were getting into. They listened to what we wanted in a house and only sent us listings that met our criteria or were just a really good deal that they wanted to make sure we knew about. They also know the neighborhood really well -- they kept us abreast of all the recent changes in the Belmont school system, and even told us which streets got busy because high school students park there during the day!
When it came time to put in an offer, we were all set to put in an offer above asking price, but Dave and Sara told us market price was probably $10k below the list price. They helped us negotiate this lower price (even though it reduced their own commission) and they even got us an additional $10k credit at closing!
They made the whole contract and inspection process completely painless and it was clear they were so much more knowledgeable than the agent on the other side of the deal. There are so many contract details, different contingency periods and lending requirements and a bunch of other things that I can’t even remember, and Dave and Sara handled all the details flawlessly while still making sure we understood each document we were signing. They also bent over backwards to make things work on our timeline. We signed the initial contract around 10pm because my husband and I couldn’t get off work until late that night. I could gChat Sara every hour with questions and she would respond immediately -- way easier than trying to leave phone and e-mail messages all the time!
One added bonus is that they have great contacts for the other services we needed -- they recommended a great mortgage broker who actually took the time to explain all the forms, fees, and processes that go along with a mortgage, and they also knew an excellent home inspector.
Most importantly, they are genuinely nice people (Dave even took a piece of our chandelier home and fixed it for us when he noticed it was cracked!), and it was a great experience to work with them for the past few years.
