Sold a Condo home in 2014 in Fishtown, Philadelphia, PA.
I just sold a home in NoLibs that I was holding onto after moving to CA. I had rented it out for 5 years to excellent renters who were moving on so I thought it was time to put the home on the market and move on as well. Being in CA, my number one criteria was to find someone who was an expert in the local market and who could walk me through the selling process remotely. The Somers team was a no brainer. They are as local as you can ask for and they have a personal interest in the community. I worked with Chris in particular. Aside from the personal follow up communications, I appreciated the use of other digital tools to keep me posted on open house, appointments, and other essential tasks in the selling process. When posed with difficult questions / situations such as initial pricing, price changes, seller concessions I consistently pressed Chris for his take and expertise to help me make the most informed decision. Chris didn't hold anything back using data points and market dynamics to justify his point of view. Despite not getting my target number, I feel confident that is what the market demand is today. Its not ideal for my bank account but it made the decision a lot easier knowing I had the best advising me along the way. Thanks Chris!

The secret to every renovation and resale project is to build a good team: Designer, Contractor and Broker. I recently did a complete gut and renovation on my family home. I had the first two team members, and then was introduced to Stephanie Somers. This proved to be the all important missing third member of my winning team. From a first consultation during my planning stage, through the demolition stage, and later during the renovation, Stephanie was there to advise and consult. She was a tremendous resource to me to review my plans and ideas. All the time she was positive and tireless in dealing with all my questions, emails and calls. So when we finally entered the sale stage, she was just amazing: focused, dedicated and committed. She managed all the negotiations and walked me through the entire process with patience and confidence. I felt empowered, informed and protected. As we sat across the table from the happy new owners of my family's home and we were signing the final documents, I realized there were no words left for me to express my gratitude to Stephanie and her team, except a most heartfelt, thank you. It didn't seem to be enough, but it was all I could say. My project was about 10 months in the making, from planning and design to the sale and closing. Stephanie and the Somers Team were there for me at every major twist and turn with their expert knowledge, experience, professionalism, strategy, support, and class. I couldn't have done this without them.

Listed, but didn't sell my home in 2014.
After a very negative experience listing our home with another agent, we decided to use The Somers Team after interviewing many other people. Their knowledge of the area, marketing plan as well as their sincere communication with us was exactly what we had hoped for and found! Everything was handled in a professional and courteous manner and the video they had prepared to showcase our home...... MAGNIFICENT! When we informed them that we had decided to take the house off the market in order to lease it to a family member for a couple of years, we were worried they would be angry. It was quite the contrary- While they were understandably disappointed, they were supportive of our decision and handled taking the home off the market with class.... There is no doubt that when it is time to list the home again, we will not hesitate to call Stephanie or Chris immediately. They truly are rock stars!

Great to work with! We sold our house quickly & Chris was always responsive to our needs. I would recommend him to any one looking to sell in the Philadelphia area. We had some hiccups during the sale on the sellers end and he was able to smooth things over quickly and professionally. In the end, we were able to walk away with full asking price.
