Tom Caudill is an excellent real estate agent. My wife and I are very particular people and had a very specific set of ideas about what we wanted. During the house hunt, we also micro-managed the search process, looking at all available databases, meeting frequently with Tom and emailing him almost every day with questions and follow-up inquiries. The specificity of our housing requirements resulted in a long search search for the "right" house that spanned most of the Richmond suburbs and nearly four months of time. Throughout this search, Tom was patient with our constant questions; he was also resourceful about options, creative in his suggestions, and a great sounding board for on-the-spot assessment of new properties. His positive, optimistic attitude was really helpful as well--someone less patient or calm might have spooked us into a hasty decision that we would have later regretted. Instead, he made us feel like we had all the time in the world to make the right choice, and aided us in the research it took to find it. Finally, Tom was instrumental in sealing the deal, both in helping us dissolve a signed contract for a beautiful property that failed its house inspection (a nasty surprise!) and later in negotiations for the property that we actually bought shortly thereafter. This combination of knowledge, experience, patience and a positive attitude made Tom a better agent than others I've worked with in the past and I continue to recommended him to friends to the present day.
