Our Story – My husband and I were first licensed in 1996 and we were terrible agents. Our broker kicked us out of the new agent class. Our first contract was a fiasco. When a neighbor asked us to list her home we told her, "You don't want us. We don't know what we are doing." Then – we changed.

We tell the story in our book, Clients First. We were 90 days into our careers when we decided to undo a deal. We represented both the buyer and the seller and it amounted to a lot of commission. Our seller was also buying a new home and our buyer would want to sell their home if we could only make a deal. But, it was too much house for our buyer and their low offer was too little for our seller. After eight counter offers back and forth they were still $5,000 apart. We knew it was a bad deal for both sides. We told them so and went home with nothing.

The next morning, we were changed. We could no longer just tell people whatever they wanted to hear. We had to tell them the truth. We could no longer bumble along. We had to become competent. And most of all, we could no longer care about the money and our needs. All that mattered from that day forward was our client's needs. We had to put our clients first.

In the years since, we have served more than 5,000 clients. They bring their family and their friends. They speak kind words and recommend us over and over because we give them a unique client experience.

EVERY DAY – We continue to be very much hands on in our business. In addition to overseeing team operations and contract negotiations, we counsel new clients, guide current clients, and chat with past clients every day. Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $525K in Paradise Valley, Phoenix, AZ.

We sold our AZ home from PA - and did not have to travel at all to do so. It would not have been possible without the team the Callaways put in place. Two months before the property went on the market, they did everything needed to stage the property, make repairs and coordinate with out tenants. Once a contract was signed, they coordinated repairs requested by the buyer and tweaked details of the transaction as we approached closing. Our only negative is that we would have liked a bit more timely communication in the final weeks before closing. Otherwise, everything done in the 4 months we worked with each member of the team - including the contractors - was professional, courteous and timely. We would recommend them 100%.  More Less
