We have finally closed on the sale of our property on Troyer Ave. It is always tough to leave a house that we called our home for 4 years. What was really nice is the Timothy Crofton Team that helped us through the process. There was a glitch along the way (the first offer did not go through), but it actually turned out to be a blessing as we sold for a higher price the second time around. You guys were all just completely awesome. Here are some of the key highlights:
Himmat prepared really good marketing material and a solid marketing plan. We were shocked to see the number of folks show up on the first weekend, even when we were not supposed to have a open house.
The house presentation was excellent. Timothy and his fantastic crew helped us make good decisions on upgrades, which really enhanced the value of the property. The interior decorator, the cleaners, the landscaping crew, everyone really made the property look like a desirable home.

Recently our mother went into an assisted living center, and we needed to sell her home in order to help pay for her monthly fee. Our Mother had to be placed in a rest home in Fremont. This facility has been wonderful and very caring to Mom. She has made many new friends and has stated she want to stay there for the rest of her days. Unfortunately, this facility does not accept any government assistance such as MediCal so Mom has to pay for it as she goes along. Her home like most people her age is her largest financial asset. We needed to get it sold quickly and at a fair price.
We had heard very good things about Timothy and gave him a call. Since we are from Portland, Oregon, we also interviewed 3 other real estate firms in the area to do our due diligence for our Mom.

I recently worked with Timothy and he helped me sold my house in less than 40 days since I contacted him early May this year. It was a very pleasant experience working with Timothy and I am very impressed by his professionalism, and customer-focus approach. Here are some of my positive feed-backs:
1) Thorough marketing strategy
On the day I contacted Timothy about selling my house, he asked me about my expectations on the phone and set up an appointment the next day. On that same day, I got a booklet that contains all sort of information about the house, the current market condition, the comparable house sold recently.
2) Detailed home improvement ideas
When we met at the house the next day, he took a careful lok at the house and made some very good suggestions to get the house renovated in some small parts that would make big difference when potential sellers view the house. For example, he recommended to get the high wall in the living room that is directly facing the entrance door painted with a high pinched color. That would catch people's eyes to move upward to see the high ceiling. I think that was a great idea. He also suggested to get the master bedroom painted in different colors so some areas would appear to have more depth.
3) Free staging
Right after these small modifications were done, Timothy directed his team and staged the house in one day. The selected furniture (pictures, sofa, accent tables, etc.) matched pretty well with the hardwood floor. The transformed the house to a pleasant living environment. All these services were free of charge. I believe the staging has contributed a good part in selling the house so quickly.
4) Detailed consultation to pick the right offer
When we received multiple offers, Timothy worked with me closely and analyzed each offer for their pros and cons. After we picked the final offer, the deal was closed in less than 2 weeks.
