lot size seems to be very inaccurate... is there a way to search by public record?

Answer
Lot sizes in the MLS deliberately use wide ranges. For instance, FMLS asks agents to post listings in the ranges that follows: Less than 1/3 acre1/3 to 1/2 acre1/2 to an acre1-2 acres 2-5 acresNow, those ranges won't satisfy most buyers. So, ask your buyer's agent (or the listing agent) for an exact lot size. Of course, the County Assessor's site will also show the exact size. For example: go to fultonassessor.org and type in the property address. There's plenty there!
