We have bought two homes with Tom as our realtor. Tom is very good at his craft. He knows his market and does his research. He understands the process of both buying and selling homes. He also understands other realtors, how they operate and whether they know their job well. There are many factors which can influence a sale. Tom's knowledge and keen insight allow him to avoid most pitfalls and potential problems.
He also listens very well to his clients. He is able to help his clients understand better what they really want .Tom is quick to learn his clients wants and priorities. He is also able to steer clients away from places with potential problems.Tom looks ahead and sees you in the home months to years down the road, and whether the home is a good fit for you. It is not just the sale that is important to Tom, but the whole process from start to after you move in.
We looked at a lot of home during both buys that Tom did for us. In both situations, there were well over 30 homes looked at for each buy, and many more that were considered before ruling them out. Tom is willing to spend the time with you and build a relationship that matters. Our second home was purchased in a location outside of the Portland area. By the time we bought, looked at many homes over many months, Tom knew the market better than local realtors.
We have seen Tom sell homes as well, ans talked with him about that process as well. As long as Tom is around, he will be our realtor for both buying and selling.
