Originally from Clarksville, Tennessee, I am  a 1984 Graduate of Northwestern University where I graduated with honors. In 1989 I relocated to Southern California and since my association with Coldwell Banker in 2002, I have  built a reputation as a creative thinker, innovative marketer and a consummate real estate professional. Bought a Townhouse home in 2014 for approximately $400K in South East, Pasadena, CA.

We chose Tony Dowdy to be our real estate agent in order to purchase a condo in Pasadena. Since we were not familiar with the area, we wanted someone who knew the condo market well and who was knowledgeable about the HOAs. Tony showed us a variety of properties in our price range which helped us narrow down the type of unit and neighborhood that we liked. Bought a home in 2013.

Last year my father and I were looking for a Condo in Pasadena and had been attending many open houses. There was very little product and homes were getting snatched up the day they went on the market. We met with a lot of brokers but weren't impressed as my father and I are both in the business and had high standards. We bumped into Tony at an open house and realized he had a unique knowledge of the complex and of the neighborhood. Once the home came on the market, Tony represented us and understood that we needed to move quickly to get our offer accepted. Once accepted, we worked very closely with Tony and he was always available via email, phone and even by text!! He was a pleasure to work with and everything went smoothly during our 30 day escrow. I've been in the home for almost a year and nothing has come up as an issue after the fact. **As a side note, our complex has a rental restriction to deter lots of investors from buying up a ton of units. Within the year, two units have sold and both were bought by investors who are now unable to rent out their units. These buyers were poorly advised and didn't have a Real Estate professional who intimately knew the rules of the complex. You need the right guy for such an important transaction and it's Tony.
