If you were not getting showing, that would mean that on paper your listings are not attractive and out of the range of the comps (too high).Now, since people are showing, let's look at the homes and try to see if there is anything that might be turning people off?Are you following up with showing agents, and potential buyers? Feedback would be very useful in this situation.
Hi k, We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel, and have a huge empty, dusty, dirty, gutted room in the middle of our house. For a kitchen remodel you should definitely be able to find a designer that can help with layout. You contractor should be able to help also. Our contractor brought a few ideas to us that we did not see before. We moved the doors, and covered some skylights and it's "going" to look great. Here in San Francisco, many of the kitchen cabinet stores will also help with the layout, and can recommend a lot of options, Sorry, I have no references in Wash.An architect will probably be overkill on a kitchen remodel, but you never know...your kitchen could be spectacular.Good luck, and try to keep the dust down :)

Here is my story with a home depot toilet repair.I was doing a bathroom remodel and I thought I would get some help with the simple. So I went to home depot and used their service to install a toilet. I think it was $99 dollars with a $75 non-refundable fee in case the worker could not install it.The installer came over, looked at the hole in the floor for about 5 minutes and then told me he could not do it because the toilet flange was bad. He Left and I lost $75.I went to Home Depot again, got the universal flange kit and installed the toilet in about an hour...The contract out their work, and you have no idea who will come over to do the job...IMO, do not use Home Depot to contract work, use a private contractor with good references.
