Tristar Plumbing caused us multiple problems and should be avoided. It took them two months and 6 service calls to install a bathtub. Over the course of the two months they caused two leaks with new plumbing connections they installed. The first leaked into the bathroom, and they came back out to fix that the same day. The second leaked behind the wall and into the bedroom, damaging the carpet and baseboards in both rooms. They had to cut through the drywall in the bathroom to see where it was still leaking and tighten down the hot water connection they had made to stop the leak. They sent a drywall contractor to repair the drywall and expected us to pay for their mistake--over $400 for a simple drywall repair. They said they weren't responsible for the damage since it was raining the day they did the work and it must have been the rain that cause the leak. The worst part of the experience was the plumber who did the work. He no-showed for two appointments, hung up on my wife when she was explaining why she wasn't paying for their mistake, and was generally disrespectful to both of us on the phone. We had to talk to the owner to get anything resolved, but it still ended up costing us more. The only bright spot here is Jody who is the customer service person and scheduler; however, that's not enough for us to use this company again.
