From what I understand about these re-negotiated mortgages, the interest rate may be adjusted, and the terms may be extended, but I have never heard of the balance owing being reduced.  Lenders are in the business to make money, and you can follow the steps Lora suggested to possibly get an adjustment to your interest rate so your monthly payment may decrease.  However, the lender will not just let you reduce the amount you owe them.  Plus, you really need to prove to them that there is a reason that you can no longer make your current payment (loss of job, etc.).  Good luck.

What is it that you would like to know?  I looked up this listing, and it last sold in April 2007.  I can give you more information if you either email or call me.

One other thing you might want to consider is the fact that if you have the home leased out, it might be a deterrent to anyone who may be interested in buying the home.  If you lease the home to someone for a year, they have the right to stay in that home for the full term, as this is a contract they have.  Also, whose to say that it will be so easy to rent the home out at the right price, and to someone who will take good care of it.I would do like the other two contributors already said, and contact a full-time Realtor who is local, who can provide you with some solid advice.  Any questions you have can be answered FREE of charge by a professional.  I would even speak with a couple of agents to see which one you feel you could trust, and you feel would be able to help you best.Anyone can provide you with a CMA, but the analysis and accuracy of that information, coupled with a good understanding of the market is what will assist you in making a good decision.Best of luck, and feel free to contact us if you do have any additional questions.
