I'm not a review kind of guy, but after seeing the negative one on Troy I felt compelled to write something. I was in a must-move situation due to job relocation about 4 years ago. My family & I had never been to Bennington. We called every place in town...and explained to them that we'd be coming out for 1 week only, and that we WOULD be buying a house within that week. Everyone except Troy was utterly useless, sad to say most of this town comes across that way a lot of the time. I mean commission doesn't get any easier... Troy was the only one that called back, that did what he said he'd do, that lined places up, that looked at neighboring towns...and guess what? Within a week we were on contract for a house. When we actually moved a few months later, we had a two day window to close (I think, it was tight as well), and he made it happen. I've referred him to friends and family that have thought of moving out here, and if the need arises to rent the property, I'll be using him for that as well. Perhaps the "3rd degree" the other reviewer is writing about, is because they have something to hide, and Troy was actually just doing a thorough job, which is the way everyone should be running a business.

Bought a home in 2008 in Bennington, Town of Bennington, VT 05201.

We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Arlington, Sunderland, VT 05250

Needs to learn how to qualify a buy with offending a buyer. Pepole do not want the 3rd deg when they call. We did not know you form Adam and you wanted too much info up front to even show a house. Sorry, We used a real agent to buy. You never know who is on the other end of the phone.

Since I do not know who you are, I am unable to respond to your complaint directly. However, ALL potential customers are asked the same questions in order to qualify Buyers or Tenants. This is a requirement of Fair Housing that we treat everyone equally and in the same manner.
