Simply put, Tyler is amazing. I was a first-time home buyer in an extremely competitive & crazed market where everything was going for minimum 20% over asking and into contract within a week of first being listed (San Francisco, Spring '13). If it hadn't been for Tyler, I probably would've given up or gone crazy. I think the thing that impressed me most was how she maintained a balance between guiding me in the right direction without ever pushing me past my comfort zone.
She is very knowledgeable about the market - always guessed almost exactly what properties were going to ultimately go for - and very helpful in getting me the info I needed to make a decision. After 9 months of working with a different agent, losing bids, waiting forever for responses to emails and calls, I had all but given up on finding a home in San Francisco. A good friend who had just secured a place recommended me to Tyler. Within minutes she set up a time for us to meet up and started sending me interesting properties, some of which I had never seen during my hours of scouring MLS/Zillow/etc.

Tyler is charming, honest, bright, thorough and (in only the best way) tenacious. We worked together in early-mid 2012 to both choose the community that was right for me as well as to find the right specific home. I began the process with a relatively loose wish list - Tyler was able to distill that down into must-haves and nice-to-haves (as well as AVOID at all costs - If only I'd known her for my prior home purchase ;-)).
We agreed on community and then BOOM - Tyler found a property right away.....literally within minutes of it going onto the MLS after business hours. We were inside it that next afternoon, stood in the street on smartphones researching comps and wrote an offer that evening. We knew it would be a multiple offer situation so Tyler was sure to track the seller's agent (an out of town real estate development company) over the weekend to make sure he knew that I was serious, reliable and qualified buyer. Due to the fact that the seller had not occupied the property AND was an out of town entity, there were condiserations that Tyler helped me to be prepared for. In any case, our offer was accepted and Tyler even negotiated the majority of the costs of the foundation work (noted at home inspection) back to me from the seller.
