Bought a home in 2014.
I am in the housing rehab business and come across a lot of real estate professionals, so I can say unequivocally that Mike Honeycutt is my go-to realtor. Even though I was seeking an inexpensive property, Mike took the time to show me several dozen houses, accommodate my quirky schedule, and return my phone calls!. Not only will I be using him again for my next project, I would highly recommend his services.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $350K in Hanover, MD.
He knows the real estate business in my opinion and he is very people friendly. He works for you the customer and wants to get what you want. He stayed in contact with us letting us know what was going on. I would highly recommend him to my friends and neighbors. Also, he explained how the selling of our house should go and what to do prepare to sell it. The whole transition went smooth, very smooth.

Sold a Multi Family home in 2013 for approximately $200K in Glen Burnie, MD.
I would HIGHLY recommend Mike Honeycutt. He did exceptional work on behalf of selling our home. He brought MANY prospective clients through our home and he is very congenial and easy to work with. He was ALWAYS available for us, whenever we had any questions of concerns. We had to sell as a short sale, but not due to Mike's performance. It was due to the economy prices. Mike is very knowledgeable about short sales, and it didn't hinder us selling our home! Thanks to MIKE we are now retired in FL. He is the best realtor we ever worked with!!!

It was a blessing working w/your family during the sale of your home. Your willingness to do what was needed greatly attributed to the success in the sale of your home. I think of your family often when I pass by the street in Glen Burnie where the house is located. I trust your retirement is going well in FL; you deserve it. :-)

We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Fort Meade, Fort George G Meade, MD 20755
I was very interested in a property and called Mr. Honeycutt approx. 6 times a day and would never get a response back. He was very short with me over the phone and expressed how upset he was over the fact that the website had an error and all properties were being linked to him. Very, very unprofessional never returned my calls on time.

I usually return calls daily between 11:00-12:00 & 5:00-6:00. I am sorry if you had a bad experience. If someone calls me 6 times a day I would remember who you are & should have been able to help you. Anyone that has been in business any length of time is bound to have someone disgruntled along the way. I recently went thru surgery & it did slow me down a bit; but I am up & running now. Sold a Condo home in 2013 in Severn, MD.
I contacted Mike Honeycutt primarily because his reviews on Zillow were impressive. I tried to sell my property a couple of years prior and was unsuccessful. I knew trying to sell it in today's market would be much harder. At our first meeting, I knew Mike would be the agent to get our property sold. He was professional, thorough and presented an impressive marketing plan to generate interest. We encountered multiple unforseen obstacles throughout the process, but Mike remained calm and confident. Mike was everything you want from a real estate agent. He returned calls/texts promptly, utilized great negotiation skills, and possessed an extensive team of contractors. If you are looking for a real estate professional that will sell your home and not just list it, Mike is your guy!!

Sold a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $350K in Odenton, MD.
Mike is amazing. We met him years ago at an open house and we decided should we ever sell we'd use him. Last year when we finally decided to move, we made the call and asked for his expertise. That man drove us all over Timbuktu to every house we wanted to see, which numbered MANY. And he was agreeable, patient, and prepared. And when we suddenly changed tracks, he was right there with us. When we finally found the house we liked, he drew up the contract that evening and officiated everything from start to finish with professionalism and expediency. He was such an excellent advocate for us. He told us his honest opinion, but he always took our word as final. He made sure we were always on-target and were getting things together--things we normally would have forgotten. And as per his personality, he was patient and kind throughout the process. When it came time to sell our old home after we moved away, he helped us find just the right people to show the house to its advantage and he was very aggressive and proactive in advertising the home. When we got offers on the house, he always fought for what we wanted, and really went to bat for us a couple of times. When one realtor seriously low-balled us and began arguing, he laid out in precise detail for her why the house, even in this market, was worth tens of thousands more than what she was offering. He didn't back down; as I said, he was a wonderful advocate for us. When THE offer finally came in, he worked with their realtor to make sure a deal was reached that both sides would be happy with. He continued at his pace right up until the day of signing, which we greatly appreciated. We consider him a friend and truly appreciate the professionalism and knowledge he brought to our buying and selling experience. Thank you Mike!

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $225K in Linthicum Heights, MD.
First, before purchasing our home Mike was our landlord. We rented a property of his for about 6 years. In that time he was always pleasant and helpful. He responded very quickly to any questions/concerns and took care of any issues (which were very few, and minor) without hesitation. As we were able to, Mike became our realtor so we could purchase our first home. We couldn't have had a more helpful and knowledgeable realtor. He was a pleasure to work with and always had a prompt response to any questions. This was our first home purchase so we did not know a lot about the process. Even before we started to buy he informed us on how the process works and prepared us for what we were about to go through. He made the home-buying process very simple for us. He would work around mine and my husband's busy schedules and be available on evenings/weekends. He also found our title company, home inspector, and got us a home warranty. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. We also found out last minute from our lender we needed a termite report. Mike moved very quickly to get the inspection done for us so we could go to settlement on time. We would most certainly use him again and refer him to anyone who needed his services. Mike is not only a wonderful realtor but a great person as well, which reflects in his work and makes a stressful business so much easier to handle. Thank you for everything you did for us Mike. We wouldn't be where we are now without your help!
